Cozy Cottage By The Lake

Charming cozy cottage only a few steps away from our beautiful Lake Erie! Lake view right from the front yard. This home has everything you need for a comfortable stay. 2 bedrooms and one bath. A fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. Sit back with a cup of coffee and relax in our sun-filled relaxing sunroom.

Very close to desired city amenities like Main Street/Downtown Vermilion, shopping, dining, canoeing, kayaking, parks and only 30 minutes away from Cedar Point!

2 bedrooms, one queen and one twin size bed. One bathroom. A fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. A laundry room stocked with laundry detergent, a nice relaxing sunroom.

Quiet peaceful neighborhood. You can see the lake right from your front yard!

House does have a driveway.
1. Check-in is at 3 pm. You will receive check-in instructions at 9am the day of your check-in.
2. No smoking in the house. Smoking is allowed outside. Do not dispose of butts in the bushes or grass.
3. Please remove shoes in the house.
4. No parties or third-party visitors are allowed. Registered guests only.
5. Please leave used towels in the bathroom.
6. Please be respectful of the neighbors and keep noise levels to a minimum after 9pm.
7. Report any damages immediately. Any damages that exceed the deposit must be paid for by guests and will be reported to Airbnb.

Great place!

The cottage was really cute, clean and comfortable. This was my first Vrbo experience, and the host made it very easy and quickly responded to my questions. The location was very convenient, close to stores and restaurants. I would definitely recommend.

Solar Totality 2024

We travelled to this quaint cottage to view the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse. We enjoyed our stay very much. Well furnished and the bed was very comfortable. Located close to a beach where we viewed the eclipse.

Cute little cottage!

Cute little cottage, interior was great!! Exterior/yard needs a little TLC... close to downtown with quaint shops and friendly people! Good for a weekend stay!

Lovely place

Our family of three stayed three nights in the cottage and were very happy with it. Convenient location. Very clean. Looks just like the photos in the posting. Check-in was easy. Definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

Cute Little Cottage

This house is super cute. Love the decor. It was a nice little home away from home for the weekend. Had everything we needed. Also, the host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with.

2 night stay

I'm sorry to say I was disappointed with this cottage. The outside is really in need of a power washing and the shrubs are really overgrown and need cut. The shower didn't drain very well at all and there was trash in the trash cans from the previous guests. We would not stay there again.

Cozy rental close to activities

Stayed for just a weekend to enjoy Vermillion. The property is just as it is described and pictured in the listing. Beds were comfortable and towels were good quality. Neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. My only feedback is that the owner wasn't proactive with communication. I had to reach out for check-in instructions. When we arrived, the heat was turned off. It would have been nice if the property was prepared for our arrival. It was colder in the house (51 degrees) than it was outside.

Adorable cottage near the lake

This was my first VRBO rental so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was very happy with my overall experience! My family and I had a wonderful time at the home. The property manager promptly responded to my emails whenever I had any questions and check-in was straightforward (the trick is to pull forward). The driveway had space for two cars, which was perfect for us. The home was nicely decorated and modern and had a cute covered porch where we relaxed in during a rainy morning. The queen bed in one of the rooms was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever stayed in! There is no coffee maker, only a Keurig. This wasn’t an issue for us as the Keurig k-cups provided were a nice amenity (Starbucks!), but just something to note for future renters to expect. Wi-Fi was also provided. Thanks for opening your home to us!

Worst experience of my life.

Do not! I repeat! Do not stay here! Or with any property this company owns. Make sure you do your research because this company owns a lot of homes and they hire management companies and they are careless about the customers! I walked into this house with my 1 year old and 3 year old thinking this will be the best July 4th weekend. We walk into a house full of flies, spiders and bugs! I took pictures and videos and i couldn’t obviously stay no one in their right mind would keep their family under these conditions. Since vrbo is just a posting website and they don’t have any control over the money they couldn’t do anything for me either and the property manager was not helpful he would not answer us when we tried calling him hour after hour. He didn’t respond until the next day at 11 am saying oh I’ll come take care of it and he didn’t take care of it until 8 pm the next day! Me and my family had to drive around from 1 am to 5 am until we were able to find a place to stay at for the time being. The property manager wanted to just “spray” the house the next morning even tho he didn’t come out but spraying the house has chemicals and he was careless about me and my family what so ever and on top of that I had to fight my way and ruin my entire trip trying to call the owner going back and forth until I was about to get a partial refund! Imagine that all they wanted to give up was a partial refund! Why! Because these ppl are just money hungry they do not care about you! Be aware!
