Nice place but a bit dissapointing
The cottage was beautiful the location for a relaxing weekend is very nice especially during fall with the fall colors. It was a bit dissapointing because it says the cottage is suitable for 8 ppl but there is only 5 plates 4 chairs and 2 bar stools. It also says what we need to bring and what is already furnished but we had no propane for the BBQ. I rarely complain about anything nor do I give bad reviews because I am easy going but this time I was dissapointed and even frustrated because there was mouse excrements a bit all over the place especially kitchen and bathroom. I understand we are in the forest but it shouldn't be that visible if you take care of the property and if you make a clean check before hosting guests. The other thing was that all the linnens were in the laundry basket or on the top of one bed dirty and all bunched up. When we arrived the first reaction was wow what a nice 0lace but then it went downhill because we had to do laundry till 3ham on the first night to have bed sheets. Towels were also in the basket damp and smelly so we washed those also even if we had brought our own just in case (good thing we did) I am unhappy that there is a fee for cleaning services but the service was clearly not provided. I sent an email to the owner and I am waiting for a reply. There was also the fact that we weren't able to use the spa the first day we got there since the spa had been peft opened so it was cold and a few leaves were blown in the spa since it had been left uncovered. We cleaned it and closed it, cranked up the heater so the next day it was 100 degrees and usable.
Hopefully other ppl have better luck because right now the money we pay per night would be totally worth it if the place was clean and if we had everything that was advertized online
