This private guesthouse sits in the back of a two acre beautiful oak tree covered lot, less than 2 miles from water. Included is a private patio with a gas grill for outdoor entertainment. 10% Weekly, 25% Monthly discount.
New to VRBO but over 350 five star reviews on AirBnB!
The location is 7 miles to Port Aransas beach ferry and 10 minutes to Rockport shopping and dining. This is a fishing, duck hunting and bird watching paradise!
The boat ramp is five minutes from house. We have street and alley entrances with plenty of free, private parking for a vehicle, trailer and boat.

LOVED THE ACCOMMODATIONS

The property is in a very quiet neighbor. Debby is a very nice lady. I even enjoyed the chickens. Should I ever plan on going back to Aransas Pass I most definitely would stay here.Thanks Again

Private get away

We booked about 10 days in advance and had great communication throughout the process and the stay. The property is in a great location and ready to pull a boat through. The first house is clean, decently cirrhosis and has a great out door attached with a grill.. The(5) of us were comfortable, but might suggest bringing a mattress pad for the tuition.

Perfect for our family!

This was a great central location for the activities we wanted to do in Pt. Aransas and Corpus Christi. The guest house was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed to cook meals. The owners gave us our privacy, but were very kind and available for anything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again!

This is a great property located far enough away from the coast to be very peaceful but still only 20-30 minutes from everything we wanted to see and do. Would definitely stay again.

Good weekend stay

Great place for the weekend. Friendly hostess that was in communication regularly prior to arrival. I even added a guest just a day before we arrived and there were no issues. (We were still within the 4 person limit) Property was clean and functional.

Wonderful stay!

This is a very lovely property, private and secluded, heavily treed yard and very shady. Grilling and eating out in the back yard was a delight. Very clean and spacious unit. We locked ourselves out and had to reach out to the owner who came in 5 minutes to rescue us! Talk about being responsive!! This place is amazing!! Highly recommend.

Fantastic place!

Debby was a wonderful (hands off) host. But totally available if needed. Responded quickly to questions we had and provided a fully furnished and nicely stocked place. Had EVERYTHING we needed. Oh and the hot water was REALLY hot. I loved it lol This place is an incredible deal and we will be coming back for sure. 😁

Fishing Trip

I loved my stay. The A/C is cold, water is hot, kitchen is prepared with all amenities like seasoning, coffee and quick snacks and all sort of other things to make you feel like you are home. It’s also got a gas range (huge plus!) I had the pleasure of meeting Greg, who gave us some good local knowledge of the fishing spots and points in the redfish bay to get your kayak/boat into. The property is beautiful with the trees for shade cover, chickens and well groomed landscaping. There is plenty of space for boat storage and a privacy driveway out the back of the property so you can have a closed gate for all your belongs. Thanks for an amazing experience!

Overall ok

The description of the property is misleading. I was shocked when I saw the actual place we were staying. The place had everything you would need except I would add a large skillet. There are three very small ones and had to use all three to cook breakfast tacos. There is a back gate you can go through but owner suggested we don’t use it and so we had to back down a long driveway every time we left. Can’t have other people over to have dinner with because owner said because of insurance purpose. The TV is very small. Beds are very hard. The owners are very accommodating and nice. Would I stay here again probably not but that’s just me.

A lovely month of recreation and warmth for two Minnsotans

My husband and I were newcomers to the Coastal Bend area of Texas. We're thrilled we chose to winter at this Private Coastal Retreat. The cottage is located behind the owner's home, far enough for plenty of privacy. You park just feet away from the front door, making unloading and loading a snap! The grove of live oaks help break the wind and provide shade. Everything was exactly as photographed on VRBO. The host doesn't intrude, but is a phone call away if you need anything. They were especially helpful when our van wouldn't start a couple days before our departure. They recommended the mechanic they use for his honesty, fairness, and excellent work. We took our van in the next day and he replaced the battery. Problem solved! While without our van, the host drove me to the drugstore to pick up a prescription. We were so thankful for their efforts and help. Thanks so much! We know you'll enjoy your stay as much as we did ours.

Great, spot for great price!

Clean, simple and great communication. Very nice host and good parking. Awesome outdoor area w/ grill. 3rd bet is a tiny fold down sofa that would only fit a kid or tiny person. thanks so much for having us!

Off the island retreat!

This was the best spot for us to rest while attending a memorial fishing tournament in Port Aransas. It can become so overwhelming with trying to find rentals on Port A that I decided to look on the mainland. I am so glad I found this gem. Most definitely will keep as a potential stay for future trips.
