Kelsea's Korner - Awesome 900sf studio!

Kelsea's Korner is a 900sf studio that includes an enclosed outdoor area. Outdoors has a patio, table and chairs, hot tub and an outdoor shower! The entire space is very private, yet accessable to the metro Richmond area.
It is located behind another home we own and we do park our RV nearby. There maybe guests in both during your stay. The only shared space is parking.

The space is set up for two. It will sleep four as the couch converts to a queen bed. The cost is $25/day for more than two people. Please let us know when booking if you need the extra bed made up.

Please do not move the furniture.

Clean, Roomy. Pool table and Outdoor area was nice to have. Check in was easy, and we enjoyed the stay.The Sofa bed mattress needs to be replaced, very uncomfortable.

It was a very nice place and the bed was comfy and very quiet, but through certain everyday behaviors, they could also be sharing bacteria that we enforct in China.

Overnight Stay

Kelsea's Korner was in a quiet neighborhood, easy access to parking and a sweet little spot. I was a bit of confused as to why a cleaning fee was charged when the space was not cleaned. Upon coming in and checking things out I thought the bed linens were made up all fancy but instead it was a bed someone had slept in obviously the night before. The trash was not taken out and there were someones leftovers in the fridge. My partner was apprehensive about the stay; we washed someone else's linens and threw away their garbage. The lockbox was open where the key was. Seems that if someone is being paid to clean this rental before the next stay, they are not doing their job, at all. This situation is the only thing that was not ideal. The privacy is great for the area where a small oasis has been carved out. The pool table was a fun addition as well as the hot tub. We would stay there again as we have family in that area. Upon checking out we did as asked, to NOT strip the bed linens and leave towels in the washing machine. I cleaned up so that if the next guest arrived and the room was not cleaned, maybe they would do the same after they checkout. All in all I really enjoyed the space.

loved our stay

We came to Richmond for a grandson's college graduation, and wanted a cozy retreat where we could escape all the cinfusion. We found it here! While we didn't use the hot tub, we will next time. (bring bathing suits) Everything was as advertised. We had a blast.

Very enjoyable stay!

Great first impression walking in the door.. loved the open floor plan for our kiddo to have some space to play after a long car ride. Host had great communication! Would definitely look to stay here again

Relaxing Getaway

The pictures of the listing are spot on, everything was as pictured. Was very private, no interruptions, very quiet in the neighborhood. Enjoyed the hot tub very much, it was as so relaxing. The only negative was that the studio was freezing the entire stay. The heating system was not sufficient for the temperatures being in the 20-30 degree weather. The owner tried to rectify that situation with a space heater, but the heater didn’t work. Had to buy a space heater because it was not comfortable to sleep at all. Everything else was very nice, I hope they get this corrected for future guests.

Comfortable and secluded

I stayed two separate nights at Kelsey's Corner and enjoyed both nights. It was comfortable, quiet, and a secure space for my dog. I plan to return again.

We were in Richmond for our doggie to have double cataract surgery, Kelsey’s Korner was the perfect place to be while we waited 💜 we have been to numerous VRBO locations and we both agreed this one was one of the best that we’ve experienced!

Very well appointed and convenient location

We had several events all weekend and this rental was so convenient to all the venues. The space was adequate for three adults. Unfortunately the pullout sofa bed sleeper mattress would not hold air and the refrigerator had someone’s left overs in it. Other than that which caused a minor inconvenience to us, it was perfect. The outdoor area was very pleasant. Beautifully decorated and I would have given you all 5 stars if the two issues we encountered were rectified.

Cute Korner

This was our 2nd time staying at Kelsies Korner. It is cute with lots of character. The bed felt like sleeping on clouds. The hot tub was relaxing after our 20 mile hike. I would recommend Kelsie Korner. Thanks, Jeff.

Property was a let down

Location was beautiful and the actual house was very nice and clean. Easy to check in and quiet and peaceful. My reasoning for the 1star review was because of one of the main amenities (hot tub) was non functional and we were made aware until AFTER the cancellation date. There was also zero hot water which made the showers unusable. When I mentioned that a possible discount and small percentage refund would be very nice because the hot tub was one of the main reasons we booked this stay, the owner was very rude and told us absolutely not because we left used dishes inside the sink after checkout. After a few messages the owner had lead us to believe that it is up to the guests to clean the dishes and previous guests to make them sanitary (make sure you thoroughly wash everything before you use it!). Over all it was a very nice place in a very nice location, but the owner was very rude and not at all accommodating.

weekend stay

We were in town for my sons lacrosse tournament for the weekend. We needed a place close to River City Sports complex. This place was absolutely perfect. A comfy open space with a fenced in back yard with hot tub. If we ever play at River City again we definitely hope to stay here.

Cozy and cute

Nice relaxing weekend watching the tropical storm. We really like the outdoor area but didnt get to enjoy it much due to the tropical storm. Would stay again.

Quick response

We needed a place on short notice when home repairs ran long. We we’re able to quickly confirm the booking and were even able to check in a little early. The space is well stocked and the fenced-in yard was much appreciated by our dog.

Great studio!

My husband and I stayed here for a wedding and loved it! Clean and spacious and the hot tub and pool table were great to have as well
