Lovely and private. The porch with the gentle breeze off of the ocean was perfect for reading or napping in a hammock. Everything was clean and comfortable!

Cozy cottage with great beach access

We enjoyed this property mostly because of the private yard and beach access. It was very cozy and well equipped with a wonderful big porch to hang out in and watch the ocean. The access to town was easy. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great place in Placencia

Perfect place for a couple right on the water. Cozy studio type right at the end of the sidewalk that leads into town. Great location. Nice and low-key relaxing place to stay. Loved it!

Perfect place in Placencia

We really loved it here! Very clean, great location, awesome view from your porch and the outdoor shower is perfect! Your own private slice of the Caribbean with secure parking. We will be back!

Excellent experience

Suggestions: List of instructions i.e. mention the remote control for the gate. Mention in listing that cleaning of property and laundry services are provided if stay is long enough. It was a pleasant surprise but would help attract renters if they knew.

Ideal location

This place was so perfect! Ideal location close to all the restaurants and bars but far enough away to be calm and quiet. The most beautiful views from the porch at sunrise and the moonlit nights. The cabin itself was spacious for a couple and made of beautifully colored wood. Your hosts couldn't be any more wonderful either! Isabelle pulled us out a jam by helping with a last minute request and we are forever grateful. The sidewalk, which is like main street in Placencia, runs right behind the property and is super convenient. We only used our rental car when heading outside of the village. Another note, as I've stayed in Belize before in the summer and it was very hot. The 2 air conditiong units and multiple fans in the cabin make it very comfortable to sleep at night, even when it's extremely hot and humid outside. We will be back!

A 10 out of 10 It’s A Must See

I had the most amazing time. The house was absolutely beautiful. The woodwork (repurposed wood) created a very comfortable and chill vibe. The house was fully loaded and spacious. The view was unbelieveable anytime you looked at it. It was very quiet and really nice to escape the day to day things that go on. I was able to just shut off…but still had wi-fi :). Everything was within walking distance, the people were so friendly, people crossing on the side walk or anywhere would great you and give salutations. Just a quick reminder…there are umbrellas there but if you want to take your own…it really made a difference in the sun and heat (while walking). I have already started to recommend it to other friends and family. I would definitely go again. Thank Isabelle for being so accommodating and helpful…and extremely communicative! Enjoy a chill environment that you can really check out of the daily hustle and bustle!

The property is paradise and we spent an entire day just relaxing there. There are so many great places to sit outside, the hammocks quickly became our favorite spot. The covered deck was another highlight as it allowed us to enjoy being outdoors even when it rained.The property is very private, although we did experience a day where a local family hung out in the yard. When they became loud while we were trying to sleep, the host asked them to leave for us. The hosts were near by for anything we needed and they were quick to respond when we had questions. One thing to note is that the maintenance room is located beneath the unit, so you'll occasionally hear activity from below.The location is peaceful and away from the busier areas, yet still close enough to comfortably walk wherever we wanted to go.One area we want to give future guests a heads-up is that the shoreline has naturally eroded and now reaches the tree line. There is still plenty of space to enjoy the beach, just not as much as the listing photos. There is also a submerged fence directly in front of the property that was catching debris and garbage, so we didn’t feel comfortable swimming there. Not being able to swim directly off the property is the reason this is 4 and not 5 stars.We had an amazing stay and would absolutely come back. Before we left, we were already looking into renting the pool house next door so we could bring our family on a future trip.
