Charming lakeside cottage to watch nature play

We love our cottage because it's set right in the quaint little town - a hop skip and jump to the bakery, ice cream and coffee shops and great little restaurants but feels extremely private. The views from our cozy front porch make us never want to leave. We get a regular show of ever changing wildlife. The neighborhood is friendly, quiet and safe. My friends say it reminds them of a place a Hallmark movie would be made, and then... a movie was made next door this past winter :)

The beds are comfy and decor is modern but
homey. Fishing is right out the front door. In the evenings, we cast a line from the shore.

Cute little cottage. Very clean.Comfortable beds. Quick response of host. Nice location, quiet setting. Definitely recommend.

Property is exactly as advertised. Nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. VERY quiet neighborhood. Bluejays and Orioles are common visitors to the feeders. Outdoor gas grill could use some fresh lava rocks, but overall excellent property.

Wonderful stay!

Our stay was incredible! The location on the lake was amazing and allowed our family time to play in the snow. The house is so inviting and we felt at home from the moment we walked in the door. Carmen was a phenomenal host, and we thank her so being so gracious.

Secluded jewel

The cottage was very clean and inviting, with beautiful decor and special touches. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was very well outfitted, at a beautiful location. All of which made for a memorable experience.

Coziest cottage ever!

Stayed for a girls weekend & we loved it. Cottage is clean. Location is great. Love that it’s on a peaceful cul de sac overlooking the lake. Definitely recommend & would stay again!

Lovely Lake House

Charming

Our group of 4 enjoyed the charm, comfort , and beauty. The porch and campfire area are private oases with stunning scenery. We walked to the local pub for a delicious old fashioned.

Great View

Sitting on the porch looking at the lake in the morning with a cup of coffee here is just perfect. Brought the family up for a small vacation before going back to school and had an amazing time. Fishing is good. Beds are comfortable. The place is just wonderful. Will definitely be staying again.

Beautiful spot. Everything we needed. Love the porch on the front of the house overlooking the lake. Bakery and coffee shop within walking distance.

Lovely little lake house

We thorougly loved the lake house and Carmen! The house was very clean, comfortable and the house looked just like the pictures. We enjoyed our time on the lake, walking around Florience, fishing and eating baked goods at the bakery not far from the lake house. We hope to visit again soon.

Great porch time!

This was a super cute cabin with an incredible porch that looks out over the lake. It made me want to just sit there all afternoon, but we were out having fun at all the cool things to do nearby, mainly whitewater kayaking and rafting. Carmen was super responsive.

Nora's in Florida a wonderful place to visit

We were in town for a celebration of life. We had traveled 7 hours to get there. The check-in couldn't have been easier, and the place was spotless. It is well decorated, and has a great view from the porch of the lake it sits on. We had coffee from the Keurig, and enjoyed the serenity and nature. It was relaxing, and exactly what we needed. I would highly recommend a stay at Nora's in Florence, Wisconsin.

Cute, Quaint and Accomodating!

We stayed 2 nights, 12/30 & 12/31 for new years weekend. We are a band that had booked two separate shows each night, and needed somewhere to rest and refresh afterwards. Though the house is a trailer, it was the nicest updated trailer I’ve ever seen! The cleanliness was 10/10. Had a Keurig coffee maker, plenty of counter space and table room for entertaining, and enough for 3 couples to stay and have their own privacy. I loved the decor so much, I came home and bought myself a similar bowl that was in the kitchen! Though we didn’t have much time to spend and relax there, we noticed there were plenty of board games and movies to watch. The view was beautiful from the living room, overlooking a snow-covered lake. My only drawback was the water pressure & hot water running out in the showers, but for the price and comfort overall I would definitely recommend staying for a family or friends retreat! Hosts were very accommodating with check in and check out times. We couldn’t have had a better experience!

It was another successful and enjoyable girls weekend. The home is so welcoming. The decor is charming. It was well equipped and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and were perfect for sleeping in. Though the weather was a bit cool, we still enjoyed time on the porch facing the lake. we all just grabbed a blanket and made ourselves at home. The homeowner was wonderful to work with also. Had no problems with communication. She checked in to make sure that everything was going well and asked if there was anything that she could help us with. she also gave us a bunch of suggestions for things to do on the way to the cabin and while we were at the cabin. If we ever decide to do the waterfalls again in that part of the state, we will certainly reach out and request this home.
