The whole crew will enjoy Capitol Heights Haven, a spacious 3 bed 2 bath home located minutes from all there is to do in Montgomery- Downtown, Riverfront, Colleges and Universities, Museums, Zoo, and the list goes on. With 1,950 square feet, a living room AND a family room, 3 spacious bedrooms including a queen bedroom / attached office, king bedroom, bedroom with 2 full beds and a sun porch, there is plenty of room for the ENTIRE family! Fast wifi, smart Tvs and ceiling fans throughout!
The space
Capital Heights Haven is perfect for those looking to hang out in Montgomery for a few days (or months) as it is close to everything! Great for families and large groups or traveling medical professionals and military who need extra space for visiting family and friends.

With over 1,950 square feet, Capital Heights Haven is a spacious, well appointed home located near hospitals, colleges, the air force base, Downtown Montgomery, and numerous other local attractions.

Everything you need to make yourself at home is right at your fingertips. Play a game or two with the family in the living room or family room which provides additional seating, enjoy the beautiful Montgomery weather on the sun porch, or throw a few hotdogs and burgers on the charcoal grill. And at the end of the day, climb into one of the four super comfy beds and catch some Zzzzs so that you wake up refreshed and with enough energy to do it all again the next day!

Oh, and we didn't forget about the babies! A portable crib, portable high chair, kid friendly dishes and utensils, as well as organic bamboo baby/kid towels are all available at Heighs Haven!

Great Experience

Highly recommend this property. It was very clean, and the host was great with communication and accommodations! The house was not just super cute but comfortable too! Nothing like a good sleep away from your own bed!

Quick Stop

Great space! We attended an Auburn game and needed a space to accommodate a large group (7). Everything we needed was available. The house has lots of character and is modern and elegant.

The staycation was nice

The stay was nice. I had a mini staycation with a few kids in my family. The house is family friendly with plug covers and plenty of space.The house is a charming and cozy older home with a few modern touches. The age of the home shows in a few minor ways, but all together it’s a nice house. In reality it was cuter in person than in the pictures! The property was clean. A minor issue was something spilled in the oven causing excess smoke while cooking, but I was able to get it out. I appreciated the motion detector lights outside as I was unpacking the car after dark. The one major hiccup I had was the check in process. I did not receive the code to the property. I was not able to get in until an hour plus after check in. However, the host was apologetic and very nice. At the time it was a little frustrating, but understandable as it was Christmas weekend and most people are busy during that time. The host responded quickly to messages leading up to my stay. All in all the stay was nice and I loved the house.

Charming house for family reconnection

We came together in Montgomery for my cousin's baby shower, and this house was so much preferable to a hotel because it allowed us to be together and catch up over a relaxing family weekend. The home is very cute, and a wonderful remodel of an older crafstman cottage. Some reviews were misleading, I believe, because of a lack of appreciation for old houses and what it takes to bring them into the modern age. We are from New Orleans, so we appreciated the charming details, crown mouldings, transoms over the doorways, the old tubs and windows. Nicely refurbished and very comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and seemed safe. It is a working-class neighborhood, with some homes in less good repair, but most yards were well maintained. My 11 year old son really enjoyed the foosball table, and we all loved the screened in patio for sitting outside with a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The wi-fi was not consistent throughout the house, and we could not log on to some services in the back bedroom. I'm sure that can be easily remedied. Some notes that would make the home more comfortable for elderly travelers: Handrails at the front steps and grab bars in at least one bathroom would have been appreciated. Two of our party were 80 years old and the lack of those safety items was concerning for them (although there were no issues to report; everyone came home safe). Thank you for a lovely stay. We will come again.

I completed my undergraduate degree in Nashville at Tennessee State University and my graduate degree in Atlanta at Emory University.
