Summary:
This room is a part of the Sunset Motel located directly across from Lake Pepin in Lake City, MN. The hotel consists of traditional single and double motel rooms, a 3 bedroom house, and 2-3 bedroom condo units. All of the units have shared access to our heated in-ground pool. All rooms have recently been equipped with electronic locks for a seamless check-in process. We are centrally located near some of the area's best attractions including public beach access, top restaurants, golf courses, and marinas.

Guest Access:
Access to all guest rooms is provided by electronic smart locks. A welcome email will be sent out the evening before your arrival date.

The property in the photos is as pictured. The host Beau was great with communication. Check-in was easy and we had beautiful views of the lake. The pool was a nice break from the high temperatures. We have stayed a couple of times and will be back the next time we are in lake city!

Nice short getaway.

The room was very nice and welcoming. It had a beautiful view and enjoyed sitting on the deck.

This motel has been remodeled and was exactly as advertised. We didn't use the pool, but several other guests did and appeared to be enjoying themselves. We thought we were bringing our dog but had a change of plans. He would have been fine with quick access to the neighborhood for walks. The view from the spacious deck in front of our room was awesome and just what we wanted for a quick getaway.

Great communication with host. Unit was as appears in the photos. Beautiful view of the lake from the front deck. Overall great stay!

This is an old style motel that has been renovated. The property and rooms are very clean. I loved being able to sit outside the room and look out over the lake and watch boats and eagles. Fellow travelers were friendly and did have pets. It was quiet at night and the bed was very comfortable. Best sleep I have had while traveling. Unfortunately it was too cold during my stay to use the pool but it was very clean. The contact at the property was easy to get ahold of if you had questions. I ended up extending my stay and he took care of it by message. Check in process is easy as you get a code for the lock the day before. I liked the summary sheet left on top of the fridge that answered a lot of questions and had a scan code to see what was around Lake City.
