🌲Nature Haven Retreat- 9 Private Acres in Redwood Forest Bathed in Sunshine!☀️

Nature Haven Retreat is a located on 5 private acres surrounded by a Redwood Forest but still bathed in sunshine :) Decks on every floor, including the large ground level wrap-around fun space. Sleeps up to 6 with the King Bedroom on 2nd floor, ladder to Queen loft above & Full Sofa Bed in the Living Room. And you are just a 4 minute drive (less than 1 mile) to the Village of Trinidad with it's wonderful small town cafes, galleries, parks, beaches and markets.

The photos give you a great sense of the home and the beautiful outdoors surrounding it. The first floor has the Living Room w/ Full Sofa bed, Bathroom with Gorgeous Shower, Open Kitchen and Dining Area. The Dining Area has a 4 person table and a separate two person table that you can put next to each other to seat 6. Then upstairs you have a King bed and another bathroom with a shower. Then there is a ladder above the sleeping area going up to an open loft with a queen bed and nice office space, of course with beautiful Redwood Forest views to absorb... We have decent wi-fi through Star-link that allows for streaming and some video calling. Wifi speed (76.2 Mbps download 9.62 Mbps upload) Please note, the house is equipped with two exterior security cameras in the driveway.

Lots of beautiful outdoors spaces for you to enjoy, including sitting in the 5 person hot tub on the deck and looking at the stars in the evening, or playing horseshoes in the yard... And you are only 20 minutes from the Prairie Creek Redwoods State Parks with the hundreds of miles of Redwood, Coastal and Creek trails.

Things to Know:
-The primary bedroom with king bed is located on the second floor there is ladder to the queen bed loft in the room. The pull out sleeper sofa is located in downstairs living room.
-New large screen TV & propane grill summer 2025!
-There is lots of natural night and open windows in the home, great for star spotting or soaking up the forest, but if you are light sensitive in the morning it may be wise to bring along a sleep mask!
-The upstairs TV is a smart TV with up to date access to most streaming apps
-Washer & dryer inside house
-Coffee maker is a drip pot, with grinder provided
-Starlink Wifi: speed (76.2 Mbps download 9.62 Mbps upload)
-Sorry no pets allowed

We loved the stay here in the Redwood retreat! The cabin was so refreshing! The kitchen has great appliances and kitchenware! The rest of the cabin is also decorated very nicely with great plants throughout! I stayed with my wife and two young children, everyone enjoyed the wraparound patio and outdoor spaces in the clearing of the forest. The hut tub is perfect for stargazing. We look forward to staying here again on return trips to the area! Thank you!

This property is perfect for a relaxing getaway. It's 9 arce gated entry adds a special touch to your stay. The property has all you need for cooking and was very clean and inviting. Bedroom locations may present a challenge if traveling with non-family. The hot tub and outdoor amenities add to the relax environment. Just minutes from the ocean and the redwoods great to catch morning sunrise and hikes. We did have a little miscommunication as the host conveyed the hot tub was not available during our stay but later sent messsage that it was available so we did get to enjoy this one day.

What a beautiful place! The location was secluded, quiet and peaceful. No traffic or neighbors. The sky was so clear one night that we could see the Milky Way and millions of stars. Convenient- located about a mile or less from stores, restaurants ,gas and a public beach. House was very well appointed. They had every gadget and appliance in the kitchen, even fresh coffee beans and a grinder. Beautiful house with lots of natural light. Very clean too. I really didn't want to leave! I'll definitely be back ASAP.

Amazing Getaway Spot

This property is beautiful and offered everything our family needed. The location was perfect for spending time both indoors and out. We were able to easily access the Redwoods and the ocean. We shopped at the local market only 4 minutes from the property and cooked onsight. It was a perfect getaway space and we would book it over and over!

Great property. Great location. This property was great for our family of four. Just note the beds are located in one bedroom with a nice big loft which was good for us. The property was just minutes from the fun small town of Trinidad along with their great beach, ocean and hiking trails. Well worth being close to the beach to hit the low tide times for tide pooling. The home is settled nicely in the woods so its was like you were sleeping in the Redwoods.

Very nice place to stay! We were looking for a feeling of isolation/away from the city and this certainly delivered. Beautiful setting, well-maintained and comfortable property, with clear directions from the host. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Location & Amazing Experience on the Redwood Coast!

We loved this cozy property, close to so many parks & beaches. Hot tub was wonderful after long days of exploring & hiking. The home was decorated beautifully and the kitchen was great. Redwoods 2023

This place is great if you want peace and quiet. It is truly located in a redwood forest with wonderful views in all directions. It only takes a few minutes to drive into Trinidad to the shops and restaurants. We had a great stay.

Beautiful, quiet-remote yet not too far from activities

My partner and I loved it here. It was private and quiet but close enough to some lovely hikes and good eating. The owner was kind enough to share their favorite eating places and hikes all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. Taking a hot tub after a long day of hiking was marvelous too. The home is even better than the photos show. Five stars for sure!!!

Wonderful, secluded house

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was a perfect spot to explore Redwoods N.P. as well as the fun little town of Trinidad. We loved that it was close to so much but still very private. The hot tub was wonderful after a day of hiking and to sit outside in the hot tub and look at the stars was amazing. They did a great job of stocking the house with everything we could need.

Amazing cabin in the forest

The house was all that the pictures show. Very well equipped kitchen with everything you could need. Comfortable beds and a hot tub. Very clean and comfortable. Great home base for exploring the redwoods and the coast.

This house was fantastic and the property manager was very friendly, informative, and responsive to all of our needs. The remodel looks great and the kitchen had everything you need to cook for a full family. We’re definitely coming back!

Cozy, peaceful rest in the forest!

The natural light from all the windows made it feel like you are relaxing in the redwoods. So peaceful that getting cozy and playing board games with the kids on a rainy day was effortless. Will definitely come back again.

Stunning & Serene

We can’t say enough good things about our stay. The home is beautifully kept on a secluded property with gorgeousness to enjoy inside & outside! The details inside are very thoughtful - with a well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. It is close to the great state parks and coastal walks and the hot tub was perfect after a day is adventuring. We would definitely go back and highly recommend!

Beautiful home

We loved staying here. It made us feel like we were in our own little world tucked away in the forest. House was fully stocked with everything that we needed and it was nice to relax in a hot tub as an added luxury. We will be recommending this home to anyone we know who will be visiting the area. Loved it.

Redwood Bliss

This home was perfect for our Redwood National Park adventure. The house was very clean, well appointed with everything we needed for cooking, and thoughtfully curated. We loved all the houseplants! The kids really enjoyed the hot tub amongst the redwoods and we loved the peaceful setting. It is a perfect spot for any adventures in the area or just relaxing.

Beautiful wilderness retreat

If you love redwoods, peace and privacy this is your place! We enjoyed being in the redwoods and still were able to walk to town and the beach. Great natural light throughout the house, well appointed, everything needed (and more) in kitchen, comfy beds and couches. Teens loved the loft. Hot tub extra bonus!! We were there 30 minutes when my daughter asked “can we stay here every time from now on?” Easy check in/out, definitely one of best properties in area for nature lovers We hope to rent here again! .
