Quite Comfortable Oasis

This property is so nice. Lots of wonderful touches to make it feel like home. Comfortable bed, nice decoration. Very convenient to all the fun things but a quite tucked away oasis from the fast hustle and bustle of NOLA

Relax in the Bay

We had a 4-day stay while looking at real estate in the MS Gulf area. The room was stylish and very well maintained with a wonderful little deck surrounded in plants. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. And it took a very short time to reach all the beach areas. We found Melanie to be a gracious host and helpful with information we were looking for on the area. We would definitely book the room on another trip to the Mississippi coast.

The house and surrounding property is my oasis, after a life time spent living in big cities. The deck in the little pine forest is a place of green quietude, and birds, frogs, squirrels, tortoises, all live in the garden. When the bamboo hedges reach their full 15ft height, the property will be surrounded by walls of more green. All this on a stretch of the MS Gulf Coast that remains relatively undeveloped, with beautiful natural attractions - deserted beaches, pine forests, picturesque waterways for kayaking or fishing, trails for biking and walking, and loads of history. All this within driving distance of one of the most spectacular cities on the planet - New Orleans! We truly have the best of both worlds here.

My place is for nature lovers who do not want to be in the midst of the tourists and tourist attractions. It is off the beaten path, and has a private deck full of plants, that looks out onto a large hedged, tree filled, private garden, with a fire pit and deck chairs.
