Beautifully remodeled farmhouse tucked back on a quiet cul de sac in the heart of midway on half an acre. Gorgeous setting and yard with lots of space and beautiful gardens. Ride your bike or walk into town. Midway Main Street is just a mile away with fun shops and restaurants. You also can walk up to Wasatch State park or over to the famous Midway Dairy. Absolutely charming house and location!

Ice Castle get away

We went to see the ice castles with the family and loved being able to stay the weekend. Was perfect for the whole family. Need to come stay again sometime. Everyone loved it.Thanks for the lovely home.

Excellent weekend family event

This was a great location for a weekend event for the family in the summer. The host answered all of our questions and the property was clean and taken care of very well.

Wedding weekend

We stayed in this midway home for a wedding weekend. We actually held the rehearsal dinner in the backyard. Our stay was comfortable and we enjoyed hosting the rehearsal dinner there.

Retreat

Great accommodations near the Homestead Lodge. We had family and two dogs and it was a perfect place for us while attending a weekend family wedding. It’s not fancy but very comfortable and would definitely rent it again.

Gorgeous Backyard Wedding

The property was beautiful! Nice big rooms and a really pretty backyard! It was absolutely perfect for our small wedding. Host was polite, responsive, and easy to work with. Wonderful experience that I'll never forget!

Great family home

I was there with my parents who are in their 80’s and teenage daughter. The layout was terrific with primary suite on the main floor. There were 2 big bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom which gave us all space. We travelled w dogs and the (nearly) fenced backyard and nearby dog park were much appreciated.

Comfortable Stay in the Farmhouse

My daughter and I stayed in the remodeled farmhouse while we were in Midway for her diving certification. Everything was perfect. Clean, well stocked, and we enjoyed the yard swings. We loved the neighborhood- it is a beautiful mix of historic structures and modern homes, with a charming semi-rural feel. Thanks for sharing this perfect place!

Weekend Getaway

My friends and I like to go to Midway once or twice a year to craft or scrapbook. This house was perfect for us. It's a short four minute drive to the center of town or a 20 minute walk. It's in a quiet cul-de-sac. We were able to watch deer coming and going in the early morning and evening times. We would definitely stay here again if its available.

The location and yard are lovely! Overall we enjoyed our stay. The yard was our favorite part of the property. Suggestions for making the property a repeat visit: Better mattresses & no polyester sheets - squishy and hot Install kitchen hood above stove No propane in grill & we had to scrub the dirty grill Repair missing handle to kitchen door Repair back porch steps - unsafe Washcloths in bathrooms Needs a deep clean in between visitors

Charming, Well-Kept and Private

I rented this house for a small birthday dinner. The house was enchanting, especially the yard. The house had plenty of space for the 9 of us, clean bedrooms, clean and updated bathrooms, and a great kitchen for cooking. We spent a lot of time in the backyard as well looking at the stars and swinging on the swings. I would definitely rent this place again. It was a little romantic.

Cute property, some issues left unaddressed

We were disappointed with a few maintenance and supply issues (no bedding on some of the beds, few towels & extra blankets for what the property purports to sleep), and some safety issues (some flooring would have speared one of our guests' feet if he hadn't had shoes on in the bedroom where he was staying. While the owner agreed to address these issues with us, she has not done so as of this review.

Disappointing

Host did not communicate access information and did not answer phone or respond back to our requests during our entire stay. Our only access was from the back door which was not just unlocked, but wide open. There is no information at the house about rules or what to do on exit. Hot water runs constantly in the master bath tub....not just dripping but running. A nice upgrade on an older house and large backyard for children.
