The cabin is beautiful with plenty of room. The beds are comfortable, and the showers have plenty of hot water. We had our Thanksgiving dinner with our kids and grandkids. We cooked our dinner in the kitchen and it had all the dishes we needed! The gazebo at the bottom of the stairs by the creek is a beautiful place on the property.

Our stay was good. The creek out back was a hit for our kids. I don't recommend staying with small children as there are a lot of stairs. To the management company/owner, I would consider adding more board games for all ages. Only real complaint we had was our door code didn't work and the cell service was non-existent at the cabin. We couldn't access our emails to get the wifi password to be able to contact anyone. (Tip: print your docs or screenshot them before you loose signal). We were tired from our 8 hour drive and really didn't like the idea of going back out to the main road to get signal which was a fair distance from the cabin. Once we did get in, all was good.

Very nice cabin, poor communication

The cabin was beautiful and extremity nice, when we finally found it. I realized the day of check-in, I never received any message on the app or email regarding any kind of check in instructions or any access code for the house or key. I messaged on VRBO for this, and no one replied. On our way to the cabin, we took multiple cars to get there. Everyone riding passenger had to call the property managers or VRBO for help. One of our parties never even got ahold of someone and was on hold for 45 minutes. We had no access code and didn’t receive it until 45 minutes after check in. It was also a pain to get there. The address was the only thing we all had for a while, which does not take you to the destination. The written instructions do not make sense. The only thing helpful was the video of how to get there once we finally received the email. No check-out instructions were provided either other than check-out being at 10:00am. There was also someone who showed up to the house for maintenance on the propane tank and nobody told us that. We had a child with us whom got extremely scared because we were all confused why no one made us aware about this scheduled maintenance. I believe the owner did not tell the rental company. It really just caused a huge scare. All over, the house is very nice but the experience was not great at all. The communication was not good whatsoever. Communication needs to be worked on.

Great Stay

My girlfriends and I absolutely enjoyed our extended weekend! The cabin is exactly how it is described/pictured. Spacious, clean and comfy. The outdoor space and indoor made our trip EXCELLENT! I do recommend driving a vehicle with 4wheel drive. We got stuck several times on the road. We got lost but thanks to the kindness of a wonderful resident we found it. Even with that our trip was a 10/10 highly recommend.

A Relaxing Getaway

The property is great, everyone gets their own "floor". Had an issue with the grill and that was the only sore spot in a great weekend. We ended up just making alternate arrangements which was easy with the closeness to town.

Spacious and relaxing. Beautiful property. Lots of things to do in the area. We enjoyed visiting nearby apple orchards.

Beautiful cabin

This cabin is beautifully furnished with everything provided. All you need to bring is food. The only problem we had was the tv’s that had no instructions how to operate. We will definitely be back as soon as we can.

Made it to Blue Ridge, but not the cabin.

Removed the cost: We never made it to the cabin due to not making it thru the mountain. Our vehicles got stuck after 2 attempted tries. We had to stay in hotel rooms. I can rate those for you. We never even seen the cabin. The owners will not work with us on compensation. We were just asking for another cabin not our money back or at least refund 80%. They make enough money that compensation will not hurt them. The cleaning crew an vouch that no one stayed there. We had the correct vehicles recommended to drive there a Ford F150 and Jeep Grand Cherokee AWD. Property Management kept comparing our vehicles to a Toyota that their Maintenace man or whomever is able to get there. If that's the case, why recommend 4 wheel and AWD. Looking at the cabin online, it's beautiful; however, we didn't get to enjoy it. Who pays money to never receive service. The owners can have some compassion and work with us. We will be sure to leave comments about the whole experience online. Thanks to all that spoke with us and tried to help. We really appreciate it.

Book Now!!!!

This cabin was just what we needed! It was only my husband and myself so we didn’t need the 3 bedrooms…but we needed the peace and quiet and the creek!! Very spacious! 3 bedrooms with full baths….one on each floor! Road to cabin was narrow and you may have to pull over to let another car go by…nothing uncommon for a mountain home. Book Now…you won’t regret it!

Great cabin

Great cabin, only down side is the blind hill to get to cabin. If you approach it be careful to not have a head on collision be prepared to stop and back up down a hill. Cabin was awesome had all you needed to have a wonderful stay. Make sure to get door code before going up the hill had to go back down to get service to call and get code no emails with code. Once you pull off the main road need to fix the mud hole and when leaking top of hill need more rocks put in no problem for a 4x4 but 2 wheel drive might have problems. House alarm had no power to display panel so that was useless but not a deal breaker for me with security. Not as secluded being there is a cabin just across the way and a drive way on back side of cabin with people walking their dogs. Was very quite at night time and hot tub was awesome with a view of the creek. Had an awesome time will be back in the future. Setup perfect for couples to go being each floor had its own bedroom with attached bathrooms so if you had 3 couples go they can have their own floor each with a common area on each floor. Will go back with friends couples. Close to town so if you need anything a Walmart and Walgreens like 8 mins away. Close to lots of attractions like McKayville and downtown blue ridge nice shopping little towns. Give it a chance if you like the country escape but town close by to go get food or supplies. Thanks for a very well cleaned cabin yo enjoy a mind and body reset. Thanks

Enjoyed our stay.

We had a fun and relaxing couples getaway for our 8th anniversary. The cabin accommodated each couple to have a floor to themselves. Just be sure to get there before the sun goes down. Wouldn't want to drive the narrow winding road in the dark.

Gorgeous Cabin

This cabin is absolutely breathtaking and a great spot for a family! It was a little confusing to get there but once we pulled up we were in awe. There is a grassy area on one side and a fire pit on the other with ample parking for multiple cars. The kitchen, dining room, and living room are all open with the loft above. Three gas fireplaces keep the cabin warm and cozy. We were not able to get the outdoor fireplace working and communication was difficult because it was on a weekend but that would be the only negative thing I have to say about the cabin. The hot tub is very large and secluded. The game room with the pool table and TV were perfect for football Saturdays. There is also stairs that are well-kept that lead down to a gazebo by the creek that you hear flowing.. I cannot wait to come back but next time we will bring more friends lol.

Lovely mountain getaway

This was our yearly WIld Women's Weekend. The cabin was beautiful. It is a good little drive on back (dirt), narrow roads, and it got a little scary when we met cars coming toward us, and one of us had to pull over! Still, the peace and beauty were worth it (saw a rabbit and two deer). Three story house gave us lots of room to spread out. The house has seen some use, but everything was clean and well kept. The gas fire places were nice and cozy, and if it had been warmer out, we would have loved all the decks and porchs more. Highly recommend this cabin.

Great Time and Snow to Boot!

The cabin and property were great. Easy to access yet secluded enough to where we had plenty of privacy. It snowed on us the 2nd day we were there and blanketed the area with plenty of white, frozen, fluffy snow. Gas logs were great. Just needed a little more sunshine during the day. We would stay here again.

We had a great time in downtown Blue Ridge. Grumpy Old Man Brewery was great. Harvest of Main was great if you are there ask for Rachel, at Masseria as for Hope and Black Sheep ask for CLara. Service and Hospitality everywhere we went was A+. We will defiently return in the summer.

Great stay

The cabin is wonderful. We did not want to leave. I saw some other reviews said that the furniture by the creek was rusted. The furniture was recently replaced. It’s nice to see how responsive the property manager was to this prior issue. The cabin was very relaxing. There were so many sitting areas we didn’t Know where to choose. It was a great trip!

Reviewer Comments: My kids were on fall break, so me and my husband decided to get away for the week. We drove from Indiana and we couldn't have been happier. The surroundings were gorgeous, we enjoyed our coffee on the multiple decks. My kids loved playing in the creek, and on the swing just a short walk up the trail. We spent the days walking around Ellijay, Blue Ridge, Mercier Orchard, and Blue Ridge Lake. My only complaints would be the road to get to the cabin is extremely narrow and there are very few spots multiple cars can easily manage to get through at once. The other complaint would be the hot tub, it smelled awful, so I didn't get to enjoy soaking it up. Other than that I really would recommend not only the cabin, but the cozy little towns that surround it.
