So why our place? I have been coming to Silver Lake for 40 years. It is a special place to me for many reasons and my memories span from being a kid to now sharing this place with my kids. I am in this business because I want to help others make lasting memories. We are excited to host you and are honored you’ve taken the time to view our property!

This spacious 5 bedroom 3 bathroom house sits next to our current house VRBO listing 3969155 which is a 4bd 2ba. We designed the new house to hold a multi family vacation within the new house or spread across both homes. The new home can accommodate both houses under one roof for meals.

Our properties are available during the busy summer months on a weekly basis...rental is Friday to Friday. Outside of the summer we offer stays with a minimum of 2 nights. Memorial and Labor Day require 3 nights.

This property features 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 living rooms and a large eat-in kitchen. This house will sleep 14-16 people. 14 in bedrooms and 2 on a queen size sleeper sofa.

My favorite part of this house is the large covered patio which can seat 16 people. A large outdoor ceiling fan will keep you cool and the roof will keep you dry! Patio lights will be strung to create a great ambiance. Off the patio to the right will be a large Weber grill and off the patio to the left will be stairs to the fire pit. The best of MI summer evenings are spent around a fire pit.

The main floor opens up with lockers in the foyer leading you down a hall which connects the 2 main floor bedrooms with king memory foam mattresses and a large 12x6 bathroom. The open floor plan will have a large kitchen, stainless steel appliances, quartz counters with island seating for 4. The dining area has a handmade table and bench seating for 10. The first of two living rooms will have spacious seating and a 65” smart TV.

The upstairs has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom and is the perfect space for kids of any age. In one of the closets there is a hide-a-way that is perfect for kids to play in.

In the basement there are 9’ walls, a bedroom with a queen bed, large bathroom with laundry area and a large family room with attached game room.

We Have Also Added a Pontoon Rental Option. Fully Equipped With Life Vests, Mp3 Radio, Ski Rope And Tube. Pontoon Rests On A Boat Lift Within The Flora Dale Private Beach And Dock Area. Rental ranges from $950-1400/wk. Please Message Me For Details and if your stay is less than a week.

The house was perfect for 8 adult ladies golf trip. The kitchen is stocked, the outdoor covered porch is excellent. The fire pit area is wonderful. Quiet area as well. I cannot think of one thing I would change to this house! There is ambient lighting on the stairs which is excellent for people not used to the house.

Best stocked kitchen ever. We voted last night there and it was decided it was a good place to return to. We enjoyed the covered porch and fire pit very much. Lots of things to do in the area. The cleaners need to clean under beds and sofas was our only concern.

Family Event in the area

Property owner was quick to answer questions prior to our stay. Our time was busy with a planned family wedding but such a peaceful quiet setting to enjoy. Toy room was a surprise bonus for my great grandson and the swings in the yard were enjoyed frequently.

Great house in Silver Lake area

Beautiful home. Very clean, great location. Loved the fire pit and the community pool. Grand kids loved the tree swings. Owner was very quick to respond to any questions. Will definitely will return.

Second Stay

This was our second time renting from Ryan, but this time was in the new house. We had a great experience in the house and with the owner. The house had plenty of space for the 12 people we had. The kids loved the bunk bedrooms and the play room. We will be back next year!

Awesome Family Fun Week

Once again this property owner provided everything we needed for a great family fun week. The area is full of things to do for all ages. This house is set up perfectly for multiple families and ages and met all of our needs. There is a beautiful patio where our craft projects were completed near a great fire pit. As always Silver Lake does not disappoint. Would highly recommend this property.

Fantastic House

Our family just LOVED IT. There was plenty of room for 7 Adults and 5 Children. The grandkids especially loved the swinging pool. The adults really enjoyed the Fire Pit. There were many things to do in the area; such as Mac Woods Dune Rides, Silver Lake and the sand dunes, Lake Michigan, etc. We will be back!

Michigan Memorial

I have to say the two houses we rented which were owned by the same person and next door to each other were just PERFECT for our family memorial get together!!! Space was great, area was great and everything host provided worked for all of us. A great big thank you to the host also for allowing all of our group to check in early. Everyone agreed this was the perfect place to meet and enjoy the time together, and if in the future we were to need places like this we would return to this rental.

Perfect house

We absolutely loved this house. 3 floors, plenty of space for our family. Washer and dryer in the basement and 3 rd floor. The kitchen was so well stocked. It pretty much had everything we needed. The outside porch was shaded from the hot sun. We had a great time swimming at the pool. It was within walking distance. We rented the boat, it was so windy a few days we couldn't use it. But it was nice to hop in and go to the dunes across the lake. The dune ride was awesome. Don't miss that. We also went horse back riding. That was so fun. Ryan was a great host. We loved this house and want to go back.

Family vacation hideaway

This is a fantastic, well appointed property, tucked away in a quiet little spot. The grandchildren enjoyed the pool, Silver Lake, and Lake Michigan. They had fun on the dune ride, horseback riding, and a long day at Michigan Adventure. The weather was great so we didn't have to resort to local indoor attractions but, there seem to be plenty around. The quiet streets were good for walking and bike riding. The barbecue, campfire pies, and s'mores were awesome. It was a great week for making family memories that are the kind you want to hold onto - in large part, because of the property. Thanks Ryan.

I have stayed at many rental properties across the world over the list 10+ years and this is one of my top favorites. The house was a great size for 9 of us - comfy beds, 3 full baths with plenty of towels, kitchen well stocked with more appliances, cutlery, and dishware than I've ever had at any other rental property, and a big full basement. It was cold but the kids still hiked, and played outside. Definitely a summer home town. Ryan was very responsive to all my questions, great communicator and friendly. I definitely recommend this property if it fits all your needs because I would definitely stay here again!

Perfection in a home

Our family has been meeting our other extended families in Silver Lake for over 40 years. We were honored to be one of the first guests to stay at this property. We had three generations at the home, and it was perfectly appointed and designed for everyone. The visual aesthetics of the home are warm and welcoming, but that did not overshadow the functionality. Our favorite part of the home was the outdoor patio — perfect for enjoying beautiful evenings, having meals and playing games. The kitchen allowed us to easily make and have quick clean up of fabulous dinners. And Ryan, our host, is flexible and available to answer any questions before and during our stay. We’ve already booked this home away from home for next year!

Pleasant stay in Silver Lake area

The host Ryan made this an enjoyable stay. The check-in was easy and the small things we needed he quickly responded to that day. Given the proximity to Silver Lake Dunes and the many ORVs that occupy the area during the summer my family and I were surprised by just how quiet the spot was during the majority of our stay. The home was well built and as someone who has lived in the Michigan area a bit I can say it was well thought out and there was nice functional touches I appreciated throughout the home particularly when comparing to other homes in Michigan. Perhaps the nicest touch (that many have already mentioned) was the fire pit area which was well thought out and the ~14 chairs surrounding meant that the family could all be around the fire in the evenings. I would recommend this location to any small groups that would like to visit Silver Lake area.

Fantastic home & location

We’ve been renting vacation homes for years and this home is definitely one of our favorites!We had 3 families in our group of 12 and this home offered us PLENTY of space. The kids loved the yard that offered lots of space to play kickball. They also enjoyed the swings throughout the week. We appreciated the infant swing for the baby too! The covered patio & fire pit were also great! We spent a lot of time at both and again had plenty of seating and space for all of us to eat and hang out.The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals; plenty of dishes, cookware and silverware. The beds were comfortable & even the adults who slept on the bottom bunks said they were comfortable and got good rest.The location couldn’t have been better! We loved that the home is on a quiet dead end street without traffic but so close to everything! It was such a pleasant surprise to realize that a short trail walk took us right to the association pool that we all enjoyed throughout the week.The home was also VERY clean! We could tell that the owners take a lot of pride in their rental. Things are decorated nicely and very well taken care of.Ryan was very easy to work with. He always responded quickly to any questions we had and his instructions were clear and easy to understand.Thank you, Ryan for providing our family with such great accommodations for our Silver Lake vacation! This rental is an easy 5 star review!!

Sable cottage - What a perfect spot!

We recently had a stay at the Sable Cottage and it was amazing! Right from the start, there was enough room for our entire family to spread out and get comfy. Grilling is a big thing for us, and that Weber grill was top-notch. It was clean and new, and the meals we cooked were amazing! When we wanted to just chill, the covered patio was the spot. Everyone had a place to sit, and we spent a lot of time there just talking and hanging out. Inside, the cottage felt warm and welcoming. The decor was tasteful and added to the whole vacation vibe. One of our favorite discoveries was the closet packed with toys and books – the kids loved it! The pontoon access was perfect. Such a fun addition to our trip! It gave us a chance to explore the lake and spend time anchored up on the silver lake sand dunes. Evenings were special too. With the large firepit, we had some great family moments, roasting marshmallows and making s'mores. We also had some very competitive foosball matches in the basement. All in all, Sable Cottage felt like the perfect family getaway. Clean, fun, and with so many thoughtful touches. We've made memories to last a lifetime. Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great Property

I booked this property for my families. I had brother and sister in law with their 4 kids. My wife and I and our daughter, My mother and father in law and my parents. We had a full house with lots of room for 13 guests. There are 3 different floors. They have 2 upstairs bedrooms with I believe 9 beds. This is where the kids will sleep. Main floor has 2 bedrooms. Basement also has a room. Each of the 3 floors has a bathroom so no one has to walk far to get to the bathroom at night. They also have 2 washer and dryers. Nice place in the woods. Nice outdoor patio seating. This house had the best bonfire I have ever seen in my life. It was the best part of the trip besides riding a 4 wheeler in the dunes, and the tram dune ride. They have a pool that is about a 5 minute walk from the house. Lake Michigan is a close drive I believe about 2 miles. They have a craigs cruisers along with go-karts nearby for the kids. And of course silver lake is known for jet skiing and riding vehicles in the dunes. Great trip for sure. The only complaint I have is that it rained the last night and we didn't get our bonfire that night :)

I now share this place with my kids so they can have similar experiences I did. The reason we entered the vacation rental business was to provide other families with a best-in-class experience to create family memories. We do this through the lens of our own expectations, planning and execution of our vacations. We are avid travelers and stay in many VRBO homes ourselves. We take best practices across these properties and include them into our home.

We live in Holland and stay at our houses to make sure they are up to our standard. I manage all of our homes so you are renting from the owner who cares about your vacation as well as your review. Property managers only care about their fee and not your vacation. Renting from us ensures your vacation is in our best interests.

This property was designed by me after owning 2 rental houses and having 9 years experience. This house is setup for a multi-family vacation. Why rent two home when you can stay at our home and all be together? Tired of renting homes that say they sleep 14 but are really meant to hold 8? This house was designed to hold 14 with comfort and lots of space. We provide separate living and recreation spaces for the kids and adults.

We take it a step beyond most and provide the creature comforts of home so that you can pack less and spend less on your trip. We provide some basic spices, paper products, trash bags, dishwasher pods, laundry soap, cleaning supplies and more.

I am a die hard cook and you'll notice my kitchen is stocked like one. Kitchen gadgets, sharp knives, quality utensils, well thought out kitchen design and ample space to feed an army.

House sleeps 14 people but also accommodate the guests from my other house (sleeps 10-12) for dinner. Great option for large and/or extended families.
