The Fairview House offers clean, quiet, and convenience to everything Columbus has to offer. 15 minutes to Ft. Benning(National Infantry Museum and Turning Green Ceremonies), 10 minutes to Whitewater Rafting, 5 minutes from shopping, walking distance to Dragonfly Bike/Walking Trail and Cooper Creek Park and Tennis Center. The Fairview House has two separate living areas plus a large screened-in back patio. It also has a fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. There is a queen master suite, a queen bedroom, and a third queen bedroom with an air mattress available as well. Travel pack and play sleeper and high chair are on site. Enjoy keyless, no-hassle check-in and check-out. The owners(Melanie & Jim) are local, flexible, and responsive to your needs. Enjoy clean, quiet, and PRIVATE accommodations for up to six adults and eight total guests at less than hotel prices.

We enjoyed our stay. House was clean and comfortable. Several commented on how clean the oven was. Communication with property owner was excellent. Check-in and out process was very easy. Publix close by. If we are in the area in the future and are able we would stay again.

We were there to visit with son/grandson that transfered from Ft Leonard Wood to Ft Benning. The house was a perfect spot for the visit. It was close to the base and everywhere we needed to go. The house was well equipped with little unexpected surprises. We lacked for nothing. The hosts were great. Very responsive and gracious. I recommend using Melanie and Robert as your hosts when you visit Columbus, GA.

loved the two separate rooms with the couches. one area for gaming, the other for watching TV. Two bathrooms were also nice. Quite neighborhood also a plus. close to everything in Columbus.

We were in town for our son’s turning blue ceremony and graduation at Ft Benning and stayed for 3 days. We had a welcoming and relaxing stay. Our host responded immediately to any questions we had. The house was very clean. The beds were comfortable. Shopping and fast food were within just a few minutes from home. The neighborhood is nice and pretty quiet. We would recommend this home to others to stay. Thank you to our Host for allowing us to stay.

Perfect size home for our group. Really liked that there were two sitting areas and spent much time on the screened in porch bird watching. Great location, accessible to the base and town.

Right at home

Came in for a few nights to celebrate my son's turning blue and graduation. Felt welcome as soon as we walked in. There were even snacks on the counter. The bathrooms had plenty of towels, each had a basket with shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and mouthwash. We were very impressed. This was the perfect home away from home.

Perfect for Ft. Benning

We came for our son's Turning Green ceremony at Ft Benning and this was a perfect home away from home. The house was clean, close to the base, and in a very convenient location. The owners were incredibly nice and very easy to work with regarding our stay. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay

This was a cute little house tucked in a quite neighborhood. It was easy to find and close to many restaurants. We were there to see a graduation at Ft Benning, and this was a great location. It was about 15 minutes drive to the main gate. If we ever come back to Ft Benning we will definitely use this host. glad atand d

Quick Family Visit

Our stay was just 2 nights as we visited with family. We found the house very comfortable. We had everything we needed for our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and nicely maintained. Highly recommend staying at this home.

Peaceful Bliss

The property was exceptionally clean and situated in a desirable, tranquil location. The beds were comfortable, and the proximity to numerous amenities, including the military base, was very convenient. The home offered a peaceful and welcoming ambience. The owners were very responsive and kind, thoughtfully providing essential starter supplies; and the children particularly appreciated the complimentary treats. I regrettably overlooked signing the guest book. 10 out of 10

Clean and had everything we needed

Nice and clean. Plenty of towels, blankets, pillows. Fully stocked kitchen. I cooked for my family, and they had everything that I needed. Everything worked fine. We also saw deer in the backyard behind the fence!
