A place for adventure in the shadows of Mt Katahdin. Located on a quiet dead end road that is also an ATV trail. There are many Amish people , horses and roadside stands in the community. The whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique place.
A fantastic view of Mt Katahdin is seen from upstairs or down.
The great room has seating for 12, dining table for 8 as well as pool table, hot tub, dart board and glass front wood stove. There is also a smaller room for quite conversation or relaxing and screened in porch for even more space.
Baxter state park, Katahdin woods and waters national monument,hiking,biking,white water rafting are nearby. Snowmobile and ATV right from here to endless miles of marked and groomed trails.

So many good things to say! We were greeted with a local treat & nice note with details about the house! Plenty of beds available for our group, the hot tub in the house was a fun feature and the night views were just stunning! Had minimal questions but the host always responded quickly over the messaging app.

This was an excellent property for what we wanted to use it for it was homebase for our ATV trip. we rode the trails right from the property to Millinocket, Warren Falls, Island Falls. Averaged around 100 miles each day. Property was clean and well kept. Beautiful surroundings. The host was very friendly. Responded to each message sent in a timely manner. Highly recommend anyone traveling to stay here.

Wonderful laid-back place to stay with a big family in the countryside. The great room has to be the most amazing place for a family, our kids age ranging 10 to 22 could all be doing something different in the same room while we were together. The outdoor space is amazing, we were able to drive to Mount Kathadin and hike one day, which was only about an hour away. Would highly recommend, especially if you plan on enjoying the great outdoors, and the small little towns surrounding. Right down the road is an Amish farm stand, which had the most amazing produce, canned fruits and veggies, and handmade baskets.

This was a good place for our large crowd of friends and family.There was plenty of parking space and a huge yard, The hot tub being inside was great for summer since the house was cool and there were no bugs to deal with. The pool table and darts were lots of fun for a group.The huge family room with the superb view of Mt. Katahdin and the large table and open kitchen area made visiting and cooking and eating together so much fun. The grill was very nice and clean. Everything was very clean. The kitchen had plenty of supplies and cookware. Most of the bedrooms did not have doors so there was not much privacy but with our group that did not matter. Shawn and Penny were very quick to respond and very nice to deal with. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Property was beautiful. Loved watching the sunset from the hot tub with the mountain in the background. Communication was excellent. Great place to bring a family as well. Lots to do!

Fabulous family spot!

Something for everyone here. Room to spread out but nice big great room for everyone to hang out - with hot tub, darts, and pool table and a firebowl just off the porch!

ATV Trip

This house was perfect for our ATV trip. Plenty of space for everyone, very comfortable common area, easy access to town and trails, and a million dollar view. This would also be somewhere a family could make great memories together.

It doesn't get any better!

What can I say? Wow! We were a party of 11 friends/family who gathered to experience the solar eclipse. The spacious great room and outside deck provided ample space to eat, lounge, play. It never felt cramped. A bank of floor to ceiling windows showcased an incredible view of Mt. Katahdin. The kitchen was stocked with appliances, pots and pans, utensils, a large fridge, induction stove and a dishwasher. There's a pool table, darts, plenty of comfortable chairs and sofas. The master bedroom has a private deck, also with mountain views. The yard is enormous but too soft/muddy at that time to use. While we were there, we experienced not only the eclipse, but also a 65th birthday party and a surprise engagement announcement! It's the perfect place for friends and family to gather. Highly recommend!!!

snowmobile trip to Maine

We booked this trip for snowmobiling and the unusual lack of snow year made this impossible. The host was great and helped us plan some alternate activities in the area. The house and property were beautiful. Location was great. We will definitely try to book again another year!

Four Wheeling Weekend

We were a group of 12, plenty of space inside and out. We rode right from the house and the riding was great!The house is perfect with a gorgeous view of Katahdin! Shawn and Penny were awesome! We will definitely be back!
