Thank you for spending your recent getaway with us and for sharing your review Amy. It was our pleasure to host you and we are delighted to hear you enjoyed our (in your words) quirky home. To address the issue of the neighborhood as ALL of our other guests have mentioned it is a quiet safe neighborhood, the backyard has a gated 6-foot privacy fence on two sides and the portion with the chain link is shared with a church (can't get much safer than that) and the other section is shared with our neighbor's house. The house is located in the Tri-Vista neighborhood of town which is one of the most sought-after and prestigious neighborhoods in town, with an active neighborhood watch and community involvement. As for the shower being an issue for someone "vertically challenged", I'm assuming you mean because the shower is within the bathtub? That is clearly spelled out (along with photos) in the listing. We have hosted 100s of guests on multiple platforms and NEVER had a complaint and actually only compliments on how much they enjoy the tub and shower. I sincerely apologize for any shortcomings in communication, which is absolutely not the norm, and is why I let you know ahead of time that I'd be out of the country for work and not readily available - I did provide the number of our housekeeper/property manager though, in case you wanted to reach out that way. But I've looked back through our text messages and the longest it took me to respond was 4 minutes - I was more than accommodating in altering your reservation over a busy 3-day weekend that I could have given to another guest. The only communication you reached out to me about was changing your booking which was accommodated, but your feedback is important to us, as we are always striving to improve our guest experience.
