We are a family of four with two teen boys who stayed in this house for a week in July, 2023. It is in a spectacular setting with an unbelievable view over Dingle Bay and across to Dingle peninsula, with sheep dotting the hillsides in the distance. We were at peace sitting in the Adirondack chairs on the stone deck, looking at the view, smelling the sea air and faintly hearing sheep bleating in the distance. As for the house itself, we loved it for its design, space, comfortable beds and amenities. The living/dining space is open to the kitchen. The kitchen was amazingly stocked with anything you could possibly need. There were two loft spaces, and two other bedrooms, two bathrooms. Everyone in the family spread out and enjoyed every corner of the house. We even cozied up by a turf fire on a particularly cold/wet (yes, in July- it happens). There are three fire places in the house. Exploring around the property, we saw ancient stone walls and ruins of a previous stone farm/cottage. This place was pure magic. In the weeks leading up to our stay, the owner, Tad, promptly answered our every question. On site, Eileen, the house keeper was welcoming, friendly, helpful and very responsive. The beach and pier is a short walk away. My 16 year old fished for hours on the rocks out on the point and on the pier, catching mackerel, and pollock. A Thai restaurant in a garden setting is just up the next driveway over from the house. Our magical week went by in a flash. We’ll be back!
