A 1 bedroom (queen size bed) and 1 bath cabin located in beautiful Maggie Valley, NC, on a creek, screened room, Wi-Fi, dish tv (2 tv's, living room and bedroom), fully stocked kitchen, grill, fire pit, and chairs to enjoy on the deck. Washer and Dryer. Queen Sleep Sofa in living room. All the comforts of home.

You can fish for trout in the creek.

4200 feet up the mountain off a paved 2 lane road.

NO SMOKING
NO PETS
NO BONFIRES ALLOWED. THERE IS A FIRE PIT (local fire restrictions must be adhered to)

The house is very cute and we loved sitting by the creek when we stayed. Feels very secluded even though it’s next to the road. Very clean and set up for guests. A great stay!

Great stay

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin is perfect for a get away. The stream is lovely and the location works perfectly to stay or go to other areas.

Great cabin on the creek!

Loved everything about this property, easy paved access, great for a couples get away or for a family of four, the cabin is tastefully decorated, loved grilling and sitting by the fire pit overlooking the creek and exploring down by by the creek, would definitely recommend staying here.

Breath taking

Absolutely wonderful stay! The creek in the back yard was amazing and the cabin was clean and just big enough for the two of us. We even had a maintenance issue that was taken care of very quickly. We will stay again!

Wonderful place to stay!

We spent a number of weeks at Wise Old Bear cabin, and were also there last summer. We love the location, the cleanliness, prompt response to a couple of issues, and plan to return next year. No bears in our yard this year, but a number of elk strolled through right outside our window. It's a great place.

Wonderful stay for a month in the mountains near the Blue Ridge Parkway! Perfect size cabin with all the amenities you need and just minutes away from Maggie Valley itself. The surrounding area was perfect for multiple hikes and easy access to the Parkway. Property Manager was very responsive to any inquiries. We saw an elk while out walking and too many butterflies, chipmunks, and squirrels to count. The creek was amazing both in sound and sight! We will definitely be back!

Awesome!

The location was wonderful. My husband loved the screened in porch and I loved the river. The cabin was absolutely adorable. There is plenty of room for two and the sound of the river at night is amazing. We Loved Wise Ole Bear!

Beautiful creek side cabin

The cabin was absolutely beautiful. The property was just as beautiful! The creek with the fire pit area was our favorite spot to be. Not far from town but yet you feel so secluded in this spot! Definitely will be planning to book again here in the future. Just a recommendation- A hot tub would be super nice!!;)
