This cabin was so cozy, clean, and comfortable! My husband, our daughter and myself had a wonderful stay here for the week. It even snowed while we were here! We truly were not ready to leave and hope to return!

The cabin was great and enjoyed we enjoyed our stay. The driveway to get into the cabin is a pretty good incline. There really wasn’t much grass around the cabin which my dog was not a huge fan of. Otherwise the stay was great and we would stay again.

Great little cabin for a couple or small family. Very dog friendly. Perfect location to get to all the neighboring villages.

Wonderful time

We had a great time at Cherry Log. Only thing I recommend is the cleanliness needs to be better as well as the upkeep of the outside of the cabin. Other than that it was a very good trip.

Host was awesome and very responsive. The cabin was very well stocked and cozy. Awesome that firewood was provided for both the inside fireplace and outside fire pit. Hottub was great. Kitchen was very well stocked. Two minor issues were the beds on the main floor were old, lumpy, and very firm. Also, 10:00am check-out is out of the norm.

Wonderful getaway in the mountains with a view

We had a lovely stay at the cabin. The view of the mountains from the hot tub was great. The bed was cozy. They had firewood for us after we used up the wood we brought. I will probably go back. 10/10 would recommend.

A must see!

The online photos will never do justice to this cabin or its views!! We were pleased with our online booking and AMAZED by what we actually walked into! The hosts provide many thoughtful details that made our stay so enjoyable. The location is perfect. There are so many activities in the nearby areas and yet it is so private that you would never know anyone else was around.

Wonderful Cabin and View

We originally booked this cabin to extend our weekend in Blue Ridge - the cabin we had booked was not available for the additional night. We were blown away by this place though, and want to return during the fall or winter. I would highly recommend traveling via car or small SUV if you have the choice between that and a truck. AWD would help, but is probably not necessary. The roads up this mountain are narrow and easier to navigate with a smaller vehicle. We were glad we chose the RAV over the Tundra. All in all, we would definitely come back! Thanks for sharing your cabin!

We pride ourselves in providing the guests a great STR experience from initial booking or inquiry through the check out process. We think our reviews show our commitment to guest satisfaction. We fell in love with this place for the view. The sunset view is amazing and the view of the mountains and valley don't hurt either. We have tried to add amenities so we can enjoy the cabin by ourselves or with our kids, so we have corn hole, hot tub (also views the sunset), gas grill, out door dining area, and rocking chairs facing the sunset amongst other things. We have tried to think of everything you would need during your stay to enjoy it. As we love to cook, we have tried to put everything we need in the kitchen so you can make whatever kind of meal you want while at the cabin. We are always available if questions or issues come up. There are a lot of choices so we do our best to make guest's stay as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

The cabin provides privacy to help you forget about our normally busy lives. The cabin has all the amenities you need to cook inside in the kitchen or outside on the grill. The hot tub and top porch provide beautiful views of the sunset. While there are a couple cabins around, you will hardly know they are there due to the trees and lack of noise. Firewood is provided. Beautiful sunset views from hot tub and main porch.
