Beautifully renovated two bedroom/two shower room apartment in an ancient former convent. Large double bed and two singles for up to four people. 2 mins walk for your baguette and croissants. Off-street parking. Pool. Boule pitch. Event room. Wifi. Wheelchair access.

THE SPACE:
Historic centre of a listed village adjacent to the church. Building dates from 13th century.
We speak English, et francais, und wir sprechen auch Deutsch.

Very pretty village surrounded by vineyards with two cafes which serve food, supermarket, pharmacy.... Other good restaurants within a few minutes (website hidden) Emilion 20 mins, Bordeaux 60 mins. Sarlat 90 mins.

Bordeaux airport 80 mins. Bergerac airport 40 mins. Libourne TGV 40 mins. Local train station Velines 10 minutes.

GUEST ACCESS:
Independent entrance. Off-street parking. Wifi. Pool. Boules pitch. Large meeting room for up to 80 people if required-discuss in advance.

A Convent in Gensac

This is a wonderful propert in the old village. It has a magnificent view and a lovely outdoor area. The owners are friendly and accommodating. We look forward to staying again.

Idyllic holiday - Picture Perfect!

Fantastic location - village setting is stunning with enough amenities to make for easy living i.e. 2 cafes and 1 very good mini food market store that sells most things including fresh pastries/baguettes daily. Excellent accommodation - made easier by John being English (also French & German speaking) - canoeing is just down the road as well as many beautiful wineries. Thanks John for all your advise - he helped us hire bikes that were picked up/dropped off to the accommodation. All very easy and reasonably priced! Thanks again!!!

The property is around 600 years old, the central part being built before the Battle of Castillon in 1453, which ended England’s rule over Aquitaine. The building was previously a stable, a convent, a school and a private house as it is today.
