Newly renovated split level 5 bedroom house. Comfortable accommodations for at least 10 people with 3 king beds, 1 queen bed, and a twin day bed with twin trundle, all on high quality memory foam hybrid mattresses. The living room and kitchen are on the main level, with 3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms downstairs. Please be advised, there are 7 steps going up or down the stairs, with no bathrooms ADA accessible in this home. Private residence on Highland Road just a short walk from campus and 7 parking spaces (2 covered) and a Level 2 EV charger as well!

------- Please note ------- there are exterior security cameras for liability/safety concerns. There are no interior cameras or recording devices of any kind inside the home. Exterior Security cameras are located:

- All driveway areas/street entrance
- Carport
- Fire pit area
- Each side gate
- Back porch
- Back Yard
- Front door

We have a Level 2 ChargePoint EV charger in the covered carport. The charger has a J-1772 connector and charges at 50 amps (roughly 12 kw/37 miles per hour). Any and all charging for guests staying in the home is included in the nightly rate of the stay.

Home was beautifully designed, and the furniture, appliances, bedding, and everything else were in great shape. Owners were responsive to IMs on the website. Parking was a wee bit tight, but plenty of room for 3 cars comfortably, with room for more if necessary. Everything was in perfect working order. Comfortable, casual 20/30-minute walk to the stadium. Plenty of places to eat within 15-20 minute drive. We would absolutely stay here again if returning to Baton Rouge.

We came with two families celebrating our children’s engagement. It was perfect. We walked to LSU football game in evening. It has an incredibly stocked kitchen. The beds were all very comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Wedding weekend

This was the perfect home for our needs, and it is so comfortable and spacious. Close to downtown where the church and reception venue were located. So much space for everyone to stretch out. Beds were extremely comfortable. Outdoor spaces are phenomenal. We had everything we could need or want. John and Lindsey were very gracious and accommodating hosts. We enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay with an awesome owner.

Stayed here while in town for USBC Nationals. The house is beautiful, and it has everything you need for your stay. The host was excellent with communication, and even checked on us (to see if we needed anything) a couple times while we were there. If we ever are back in Baton Rouge, I absolutely will look this place up again. Thank you!

Mardi Gras Weekend Stay

I stayed at this house with some friends for Mardi Gras weekend and we absolutely loved it! The owners were very communicative and responsive. The house was so cute and perfect for our stay. Great family xmas!!

This is perfect for 3 families: parents, 2 grandkids, and 2 adult couples. One of our members is very allergic to carpets - so the floors were perfect. It's very quiet as well. We did not find pot holders in the kitchen but did ok. We would have all liked more hooks and towel holders in the bathroom. Great instructions for everything!!! Cheers!

Perfect property!

Our family of 8 (including in-laws) needed a place to stay while visiting family in BR. The property was gorgeous, the amenities were plenty and it couldn’t have been any cleaner. The location, right outside of LSU and as perfect. Would highly recommend this property!

Great place for a family get together

We had a four night stay over Thanksgiving to host a family holiday celebration. The home was perfect for our purpose. It was nicely appointed with everything we needed in the kitchen, baths and bedrooms. It was clean and well cared for. We had a couple of minor problems with home systems during the stay. The property owner was very responsive to our requests about the problems and had some very capable and friendly servicemen to handle the problems to our satisfaction. We loved the environment and would not hesitate to book this property again if the need arose.

Perfect getaway for large groups

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic rental near the LSU campus in Baton Rouge, and I can't recommend it highly enough! The location is absolutely ideal for anyone visiting LSU—just a short way away from campus and all the vibrant energy it brings. The neighborhood is charming, with plenty of stores, restaurants, and other amenities nearby. The rental itself was spacious for our large group and tastefully decorated, with a perfect blend of comfort and style. Great property

This house was super spacious and a great location. We were within minutes to campus and we felt super safe with our kids here. The outdoor spaces were excellent for enjoying a drink in the evenings. We will definitely stay here again.

Comfort, convenience and charm

We brought family in from near and far for our son's LSU graduation and this home was the perfect fit. It's location is in one of my favorite areas in Baton Rouge and it's just minutes from the LSU campus. The house has so much character and charm! Plus, comfortable beds, an open concept for entertaining, 3 outdoor seating areas and all the amenities It was wonderful! Hosts are too! Enjoyed our stay!

We’ve stayed in multiple short term rentals while traveling to different states to watch a family member play baseball. This property was hands down one of our favorites. Plenty of room, great central location, a good amount of plates, glasses, utensils, etc. one thing that I really liked is that every light switch was labeled, so there was not guessing and trying to remember what switch turned what on. The host were very nice and responsive to questions I had pre-arrival. 10/10 recommend!

Wedding Bliss

We gathered from Orlando and Phoenix for a Baton Rouge wedding and staying at this VRBO was a fantastic experience! The great floor plan of this home allowed us to easily share meals and swap stories and never interfere with those who needed to catch extra zzz's. None of this multi-generational family closeness, making memories to last a lifetime, could have happened in a hotel. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!

Great place for our team

We’re a group of adults, ages 35-52, some with spouses in tow, so a shared space with some privacy in the bedrooms and bathrooms was needed, and that’s exactly what we got. The house was clean, had everything we needed in terms of TVs, dishes, cooking, Keurig, towels, and laundry for a week long stay, and was close to everything. The host’s directions were easy to follow and we enjoyed our stay and will likely try to book here again for our next meet in Baton Rouge.

Great property close to LSU

We hosted a mini family reunion around the recent 🐅🐊⚾️ series. The well-appointed, spacious home served as the perfect HQ for family and friends to celebrate March birthdays and baseball. The well-equipped kitchen made meal prep a breeze and the large dining table served as a lovely gathering spot for meals and conversation. I love the split-level design but the lack of a toilet on the main level made it challenging for older guests. The outdoor spaces (front yard, back deck and fire pit) got lots of good use by the entire family. The door leading to the backyard from the carport, as well as the yard itself, could definitely use some TLC but the endless supply of firewood was much appreciated. When in Baton Rouge, my family and I will definitely book the Highland house again!

My wife Lindsay and I enjoy hosting families/ groups of adult friends visiting Baton Rouge for weekends & holidays. We are readily available via phone, text, Whatsapp, or direct message through VRBO. Having this home as a short term rental enables us to bring our toddler daughters up to Baton Rouge to visit family several times a year.

This home has been in our family since it was built in 1972, and you can feel the love and joy that filled its rooms for decades. We recently renovated and added modern amenities for guests - and for our family when we visit!

この宿泊施設の特徴

The split level design creates space for everyone to enjoy themselves. Walking into the main level, you'll find a large living room with ample seating for 8 and a brand new 75" LG TV, along with the large retro (and fully functional and stocked) kitchen with dining table for 8.

Seven steps up from the living room, upstairs features the primary en suite king bedroom with private double vanity bath and stone shower; the office with twin daybed and trundle (and access to second floor deck overlooking vast backyard); another king bedroom; and a large hall bath with a stone shower, double vanity and large backlit LED mirror with defogging feature.

Seven steps down the stairs in the kitchen, you'll find a second living area with a 50" TV, comfortable lounging couches and chairs with books and games, and access to the back patio and large yard. Flanking the downstairs living room are one queen bedroom with a semi-en suite bath (can be closed off to the rest of downstairs if desired), and one king bedroom with two large closets.

All bathrooms feature stone showers, marble or quartz vanities with lots of storage and two have LED mirrors with defogging feature.

All bedrooms feature memory foam hybrid mattresses and soft sheets and bedding approved by even the pickiest sleepers in our family. Extra blankets are available in each closet.

The kitchen is stocked with a dual brew K cup/drip coffee maker with a variety of capsules and sweeteners, as well as everything you need to cook a gourmet meal or enjoy takeout at the dining table!

Outdoor areas include a table and chairs on the second floor balcony with string lights overlooking the spacious backyard, as well as multiple Adirondack chairs to enjoy the view.

Proximity to LSU is what makes this home so special - the LSU Tiger Trails bus stops right across the street, and Tiger Stadium is just a 20 minute walk through the beautiful oak filled campus.

This is an entire home rental, with no other accommodations on-site.
