Great location

Our second stay at this location was as expected. The experience was great, the place was nicely cleaned and located in a quiet corner. Just a short ride to enjoy the beach, eateries, and shopping. I would recommend this place on your next booking to Port Aransas!!

Quiet, spacious and nice location

The place was a nice and quiet location. Enjoyed our stay. A few concerns, could have been cleaner. Dog hair was everywhere. Appliances were dirty and greasy. Lack of extra bathroom supply and paper towels.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and we hope to have you stay again. I'm sorry the house wasn't what you expected. I would've gladly addressed your concerns during your stay, given the chance. Sometimes things slip by and we don't always know until a guest reaches out. That's why I like to share my phone number with guests for the quickest response. Hope you enjoyed Sandfest. It's my favorite weekend of the year.

Paradise & Pet Friendly

Within walking distance of a birding nature reserve and down the street from the Port Aransas Community Park & Pool, we stayed at a lovely vacation rental on a quiet cul-de-sac. We were minutes from a short drive to the beach and restaurants. The home was clean, comfortable and the kitchen fully stocked with everything we needed to cook and entertain. The beds were comfy and the two decks offered room to take in the coastal breezes. We bar-b-qued on the charcoal grill below and loved our time at the vacation rental. We brought our dog and it was fun to walk in the neighborhoods and dog park just down the street.

Excellent stay!

The house was a perfect size for two couples and a kid. Location was great. Well stocked on supplies including beach equipment. A/C was great! Communicating with Maggie was easy and she was very responsive. The kitchen appliances were a little older but functioned well enough for what we needed. My only complaint is that there was some dirt and dog hair under the couches, which we noticed because we had to chase toys under the couch.

Beach vibes and great time!

House was amazing! 3 bedroom 2 bathrooms, with private master suite upstairs. House has everything you could possibly need. Kitchen has all the pots, pans, dishes. There’s games for family entertainment. All the beach going equipment- chairs, towels, ice chest etc. Two patios. One on main floor and a private patio upstairs for master bedroom! This house is amazing and next time I’m in Port A I will be looking for this rental first!

DO NOT STAY HERE

This was the most ridiculous rental I have ever had. We arrived to town an hour before check in and my daughter needed to use the restroom. We saw a car at the rental so she went to see if she could pop in and out really quick. Maggie was there and allowed her to use the restroom. Maggie told us that all she had left to do was to put sheets on the king size bed upstairs and she would be finished cleaning. We offered to change the sheets so we could possibly check in early and Maggie agreed. She allowed us to check in early. Let me tell you she was NOT finished cleaning. The floors were filthy. My feet were black after unpacking and my other daughter ended up walking around on a wet towel cleaning the floor. There was pet hair all under the beds. Both downstairs bed sheets had blue candy or something on them, so we had to change those sheets too. The coffee pot had old grounds in it and was greasy to the touch, as was the refrigerator. There was something sticky on the coffee table in the living room when we went to move it over. If you do decide to stay here, you better not forget to bring toilet paper and trash bags because they do not provide those things.. only one roll per bathroom. We were a party of 4 with 3 Women. When we asked Maggie about it she said it was in the description of the rental to bring toilet paper etc. It was not. There was a Kleenex box upstairs with a line of about 10 squares of toilet paper shoved down in it though, so at least those were there.

Wow, this is not at all how this went down. Check-in was 4:00. Your adult daughter showed up about 2:15 demanding to use the bathroom. I let her in and told her I MIGHT be ready by 3:00…it was never a guarantee. I also said I would reach out when I was done. Well I left the house for about 5 minutes and got back right at 3:00 and you were all there already unpacked and waiting on me! As I walked in with the sheets you took them from me and said you would finish things up because you were hot and tired and ready to be in the house. There are ZERO blue candy stains on any of our sheets. About the toilet paper…I never said that it was in the description to bring toilet paper because it’s not. What I said was that we provide enough toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags for you to get started. I said that we do not supply for your whole stay. Basically, you showed up early. I tried to accommodate you. I told you I wasn’t done at 3:00 and you said that was OK. I even brought you extra paper towels, kitchen towels and hand towels the first night you checked in. And this is the review you leave for someone who was trying to accommodate you? I wouldn’t recommend you to any host.
