We were staying for a wedding locally and this was literally the only place available in Washington. After we arrived we joked we were glamping. The house was far from clean. Dust caked the baseboards, doors and bathroom vents. Kitchen cabinets full of ants (live). We had spiders and cockroaches as guests during our stay. The back yard clearly had damage from the hurricane from a year ago and it hasn’t been removed. A dirty sponge left at the kitchen sink and no clean ones. We found new dish rags in the linen closet thankfully. And when we were leaving and put the trash outside we were welcomed by old trash in the can and swarms of ants. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. Clearly the first review was legitimate and the subsequent ones were friends of the owner. It saddens me to write this but renter beware.

Not what was represented

This property is a renovated older home. Great job renovating; however, cobwebs were issues in many of the rooms and windows. There needs to be attention to details like dusting furniture. Many of the surrounding properties are vacant, abondoned, or in disrepair. No pictures were given of the outside of the property so that this could be seen. Also, I would not consider this location part of the historical district, which I felt was implied. I am glad this was a work weekend for adults. I would not have wanted my children here. On a very busy and loud highway. Communication with the manager was lacking. I am accustomed to locations having books with info like wifi password but this one does not. It has an online one, but without internet you can't access it.
