Walkable Harbor Escape Modern 2 Bedroom Getaway

Step inside to find an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen space designed for gathering — hardwood floors, modern furnishings, a gas fireplace, and a 70" smart TV set the tone. French doors open onto a patio strung with lights, a gas fire pit, and a BBQ, with stunning views of Mt. Rainier and the Puget Sound. Soak in the private hot tub, or simply watch for the resident deer and bunnies.

The chef's kitchen is fully equipped with two ovens, a gas stove, and everything you need to cook a real meal.

The primary suite is a destination in itself: a Serta California King adjustable bed, gas fireplace, 50" smart TV, and a spa bathroom with soaking tub, waterfall faucet, and adjustable lighting.
The second bedroom offers a queen bed, 50" smart TV, and peekaboo views of Mt. Rainier and the Sound. An air mattress with bedding is available for extra guests. The second bathroom features a wall-to-wall walk-in glass shower with a waterfall showerhead.

Central AC keeps summers comfortable, and the home is completely allergy-free — no pets, ever. Downtown Gig Harbor is a short walk away, with waterfront parks, local dining, and boutique shopping all within easy reach.

This is a great place! It's clean, beautiful, and very well equipped. Very close to downtown with so many shops and eateries within walking distance. Marcia, the host, is the best! She is an excellent communicator and responds very quickly to questions. This was our second stay at Marcia's bungalow, and we will be checking for availability again next year for our annual Gig Harbor visit! Thank you, Marcia, for another wonderful stay!

This was a great property. Definitely the best appointed rental I have ever stayed in. Great location, for walking into town. The host was very easy to communicate with. Overall this was a 5 star stay.

Great location for Gig Harbor and the surrounding golf courses. Well equipped kithen, super clean, close to town. The host was prompt and helpful with my questions.We'll be back Tto this location again.

This is a fantastic VRBO. One of the if not the best we have ever stayed in. Terrific location just a few blocks from the harbor and town area and a mile or so to tons of shopping for everything you may need.Extremely well equipped with a lovely outdoor area, hot tub, BBQ and more. Very comfy outdoor (an indoor) furniture.The kitchen has everything! Every applicance you can imagine and all high quality. Great beds, two awesome fireplaces and overall very quite during resting hours. Very clean and lots of little "extra". The kitchen has many staple items like food storage, spices, oils, vinegars, and more.Only about 15 minutes off I5, but in it's own lovely world of Gig Harbor. We will be back - often if possible!

We have children and grandchildren in GA, ID, and here in Gig Harbor. We stay in short term rentals quite frequently. My wife and I agree, this probably the best furnished home we’ve stayed in. Many times there is cheap furnishings throughout a home but not this one. Even the outdoor furniture was top notch. The home is very close to all the things in Gig Harbor. We will look to stay in this home again.

I rented Marcia’s house as a gift of appreciation for some friends. What a magnificent house! The kind we dreamt of in boarding school: light, airy, tons of windows, a view, high ceilings, a large kitchen equipped with EVERYTHING, luxurious furniture, cozy bedrooms, elegant bathrooms, a hot tub, snacks, privacy, quiet … convenient to downtown Gig Harbor … Marcia’s retreat is really perfection and we would love to stay again someday. Thank you! My guests were over the moon happy with their stay. Highly recommend!!

I highly recommend this home. Marcia responded immediately to all requests. The home is just lovely - so cozy, clean and the kitchen is very stocked and great to cook in. The beds are very comfortable. The location is wonderful as you can walk to the harbor and town. The back porch is perfect for relaxing and has a great view off to the side, where you can see a bit of the harbor and the pretty lights at night. A wonderful 10 star home.

Amazing Home!

Loved this house! Went for a mother/daughters weekend and just can’t say enough about this beautiful place. Everything was sparkling clean, accommodations were very comfortable, great location - easy access to everything. The kitchen was fabulous to cook in and a great gathering area too. Thank you - we loved it!

Best VRBO ever!

The home was better equipped than any we have stayed in - ever. Extraordinarily clean and well stocked. The owner was “johnny on the Spot” available. We rented the home for family from Denmark and they were so happy with this choice.
