Whether you are hoping to relax and enjoy the view of the lake while sipping coffee on the 3-season porch, enjoying lake recreation (swimming, boating, fishing) on this exceptionally clear water, or you are eager to hit the biking trails of the famous Paul Bunyan trailhead, this lake house is the perfect place for you!

Upon entering the Gladstone you’ll be instantly drawn to the floor to ceiling windows capturing panoramic views of Gladstone Lake. The great room boasts a 2-story stone fireplace with seating for group gatherings. The gorgeous gourmet kitchen will impress with two islands each with a sink for food prep, top of the line appliances including two ovens, dishwasher, and extra large Professional series refrigerator, and is fully equipped with all the basic cooking tools- ready for several cooks in the kitchen or your private chef! Enjoy lake views from the dining table that seats 10 or more with additional seating at the island counter. There is plenty of space to make family dinners, bake cookies, or play board games. Off the dining room is a 3-season porch, which also has a deck with a BBQ for grilling.

Adjoining the kitchen and dining room is the living room which boasts a smart TV to stream your favorite movies and shows or relax with a glass of wine in front of the stunning 2-story stone electric fireplace. Sink into the comfy sectional with a cup of coffee, a great book, or a little nap.

The spacious bedrooms include brand new furniture, luxurious bedding, and sizeable bathrooms. The main level features the master bedroom with a private balcony overlooking the lake, and a private bathroom. A private den on the main floor offers extra space with a queen sleeper, next to the main floor powder room. Upstairs features two large bedrooms, one with a king bed and child bed “nook”, and the other bedroom with one queen and two twin beds. The full upstairs bathroom includes a sink, toilet and shower/bathtub. Downstairs bedroom features a queen size bed and lake views and a full bath on the lower level. Washer and dryers are located on BOTH the main and basement floors. Did we mention the full bathrooms have heated bidets?

The lower-level has a second kitchen with counter seating, a living room space with sleeper sofa and 65” TV, and a 3-1 game table with ping pong, air hockey, and billiards--all with amazing lake views!

Ready to keep fit, relax, and rejuvenate? The lower-level also has a private gym equipped with a Peloton treadmill, yoga mats, free weights, and an indoor hot sauna! Of course, you'll want to head outdoors to soak in the heated hot tub.

On the lower level, look for the sliding door to the indoor mini sport court! This super cool kids area allows them to play indoor knee hockey, dodgeball, or shinny/knee games in a contained area built just for them.

The home is fully equipped with WiFi and Sonos. With the Sonos app you can listen to your favorite tunes throughout the house.

From a day out on the lake to relaxing in the hot tub and sauna, to cooking up a feast for your whole crew in our gourmet kitchen, you can be assured you’ll make memories to last.

The Great Outdoors
Step outside to the crystal clear lake and beautifully landscaped yard- perfect for corn hole, ladders, and bocce ball. In the evenings enjoy roasting smores at the campfire on the paved- built-in firepit.

Gladstone lake is known for great fishing! It has a sandy bottom to swim, tube, water ski, or relax and enjoy. Enjoy boating, fishing, swimming and entertaining family and friends. Jump into the lake or dock your boat at our private dock. Kayaks and Paddle Boards are available for your recreational use. There is a public access nearby for launching your boat (or fish house in the winter). In the Fall you’ll enjoy the beautiful foliage colors with the ability to get out in nature through nearby walking trails.

Pontoon available for rent! It’s wonderful to have a boat to go explore the lake and beach. Bring your own, or rent our 9-person Bennington pontoon during your stay. Email us for more details!

Looking for an amazing family WINTER RETREAT? In the Winter you’ll enjoy outdoor snow fun, minutes from snowmobile trails, great ice fishing and at the end of the day cozying up by the fire with a cup of hot cocoa! Enjoy a wellness retreat working out in the home gym equipped with Peloton treadmill, weights, and streaming classes, then hit the outdoor jacuzzi - heated year round- and an indoor hot sauna is the perfect way to relax and enjoy the indoors. The kids will be busy with multiple game tables, ping pong, air hockey, foosball, Ms. Pac-Man, and an Indoor Mini Sports Court- perfect for a dodgeball tournament and burning off some energy!

In the neighboring communities of Merrifield, Baxter, and the Brainerd lakes area, you will find a variety of cafes, restaurants, and events throughout the year. Enjoy great shopping at the quaint boutiques, local restaurants, breweries, and antiquing nearby in charming Nisswa.

Play a round at one of the 15 well known golf courses within 20 minutes of the lake house, or head into Brainerd where the kids can drive the go-carts, play mini golf, rent out the batting cages, and participate in the famous Turtle Races that are held every Wednesday at noon during the Summer months. The Gladstone is also located just 7 miles to the Paul Bunyan Bike Trail Access that goes from Brainerd to Pequot Lakes, 5 miles to Gull Lake Public Water Access, and 4 miles to downtown Nisswa Main Street shopping and restaurants. Visit the Brainerd International Raceway 7 miles away! About 30 minutes East of Nisswa find one of the best mountain biking hot spots at the Cuyuna Lakes Mountain Bike Trails. One of only 15 IMBA Silver Level Ride Centers in the world, this features 70 miles of trails complete with scenic overlooks.

Rules & Access
To keep The Gladstone family-friendly for years of memory-making, there is no smoking in the house and no pets allowed. To respect the spirit of lake life and our neighbors, we request no parties, late night outdoor activities, and noise level monitoring.

Guest access:
Guests have full access to all 3 floors of the lake home, private beach area, and dock. A lakeside outdoor storage unit is accessible with life jackets, lake toys, games, etc. The attached and detached garages as well as 1 master closet (there are 2!) are not available.

Parking can accommodate multiple vehicles as the driveway is quite long. Boat trailers and extra parking also available by the detached garage.
