This beautifully updated home nestled on the quiet Lake Nacogdoches features stunning lakefront views and a brand-new dock. Just 30 minutes from Wild Spring Dunes golf resort — the new Tom Doak-designed course drawing golfers from across the country — this home is the perfect basecamp for a golf trip, romantic weekend, or long vacation.

Unwind after a round of golf or a day on the lake on our large wrap-around covered patio, complete with a fire pit for evenings outside. The home sleeps up to 6 across 3 spacious bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen, 2 twin) — ideal for a golf foursome or family getaway. Grill your own meals in our renovated kitchen, since dining options near the golf course are limited.

Public boat launch only a 2 minute drive, and with our new floating dock you can bring your own boat and tie off for the weekend. Dining and shopping are only 15 minutes away in charming historical Nacogdoches. Comforts of home include high speed Wi-Fi via Starlink, memory foam mattresses, coffee maker, and kayaks and life jackets available for additional charge.

Pros: beautiful view of the lakeCons: The code provided to get into the house did not work. After 15 minutes of panic and repeatedly calling the host, finally received a call back and was told the code had been changed. The house was covered in cobwebs, leaves, and dead bugs on the outside. Dead bugs all over the floors in the inside as well. The Wifi name provided was also not working. Tried connecting to a different one and that worked so apparently that hadn't been changed in the communication either. This house obviously had not been stayed in for a long time and is showing definite neglect. We actually ended up leaving one night early.

Thank you for your feedback. We did receive a call about the door code and resolved it very quickly and I do apologize as we had just installed a new smart lock on the front door prior to your arrival — after that, you said everything was great, and we didn't hear any further concerns during the rest of your stay. As a rural, wooded property directly on the lake, we do note in our listing that spiders and insects are part of the natural setting here, and we work hard to keep the home clean between every stay, including just before your arrival. We do pest control treatments every 2-3 weeks for this very reason. Our WiFi is a single Starlink network that we and our regular guests use reliably so this is actually puzzling to me. We're sorry to hear the stay didn't meet expectations, and we wish you'd let us know so we could have addressed any concerns in real time — we take hosting very seriously so we're always quick to resolve issues as soon as we hear about them.

PERFECT GRADUATION LOCATION

WE HAD FAMILY IN FROM WEST TEXAS. THEY GREATLY ENJOYED THE LAKE FRONT VIEW AND THE PINE TREES TOWERING OVER THEM. PLENTY OF ROOM FOR ALL FAMILY MEMBERS.

Relaxing stay with a great view

This property was great, clean and has everything you need and more! Communication was great and responses were quick. We were moving our son in to an apartment in town so we didn’t get to spend as much time enjoying the house and lake as we would have liked but the availability of kayaks and life vests are a nice bonus. We did bring our own fishing gear and enjoyed fishing off the dock. Would definitely book this property again!

It's all about location

We loved being right on the lake with a beautiful view and comfy livingroom. The beds, sheets and pillows, as well as the sofa, were very cozy. This home offers plenty of aminities. However, we were extremely disappointed in the condition of the home. And we had an invasion of ants. The kitchen and other areas of the house are very outdated. The house is not very clean or decorated. The outside of the house is in poor condition and unkept. The windows were so dirty that we could not enjoy the view at the level we expected. The house needs some overall updating and the outside of the house is in very poor condition. But if you are just interested in a great lake location, you just might love it.

Could be a nice place…..but lots of work needed

The house is covered with outside with cob webs. The garage door. The windows off the kitchen. The patio was full of pine needles. They left water that was cold but couldn’t clean off the wrap around deck?? There is pea gravel with one cheap paver in the middle as a sidewalk to bring your suitcase in…difficult!! Glass doors on main shower barely open. Patio doors hard to open. Toilet seat loose. Worst supplied kitchen ever! If they spend a lot of money to fix everything and some needed updates it could be a lovely home. But not now….

Lake Nacogdoches is quiet and private, with a mix of long-time lake families and newer visitors. It's close enough to downtown Nacogdoches for dining and shopping, but far enough out to feel like a true getaway. Now with Wild Spring Dunes golf resort about 30 minutes away, it's also become a great base for golf trips.

A newly renovated kitchen, brand-new floating dock, and covered patio with a fire pit overlooking the lake — all on a private half-acre lot. Fast Starlink Wi-Fi even though most homes in the area don't have reliable internet, so you can stay connected or just unplug, your choice.
