A convenient kitchen area comes equipped for home cooking with a handy suite of mid-size appliances, including a fridge/freezer, stove, and oven. The open living area welcomes casual downtime with a smart TV and plush sectional. The dining table sets the stage for family dinners and game nights. Don't forget to use the free WiFi to post your vacation photos on social media! Enjoy the outdoors and get to know your neighbors in the communal lawn and deck area.

THINGS TO KNOW
The kitchenette does not have a microwave.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

A good stay, sadly cut short

We were having a great time until the power went out. Nothing the owners could have done, we just wish we could have stayed for the last night!

Cool dog friendly place very close to restaurants

Had a nice couple of days in Welches at this location. Conveniently located across the street from Pub 26 and Wraptitude for some food and beverages. Also about 25-30 minutes from the ski resorts. 10/10 recommend!

Decent property, terrible property manager

This is a newly (and nicely!) redecorated, modern two bedroom unit right on Highway 26 attached to a retail business. It's not in a resort community, but it's next to several restaurants, convenient to the mountain, and definitely modern and nice inside. Downsides: it's right on the highway; there's no fireplace despite the listing saying so; there are great DVDs on fly fishing but no DVD player; no dishwasher; the thermostat is set to 60 at night and isn't simple to reprogram; there's a hot tub tantalizingly present but not accessible to renters; the code/keys setup is confusing (two boxes with keys inside, then a door with keys AND a keypad?); the listing said there were two parking places but a truck permanently occupied one of them; and wayfinding was confusing (there's no address visible from the street; the unit is hidden behind a vacant retail store; the entrance to Unit B had a sign saying it was Unit A). But I'm sure the owners will sort these things out. My REAL beef is with VRBO and the property manager, Vacasa. THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIVE TO RENTERS. INSTEAD, THEY JUST PASS THE BUCK TO EACH OTHER. Three members of our party got COVID right before our trip, but they refused to let us reschedule (even though the missing only says you can't cancel). Check-in was late (4pm), and we received a last-minute text saying it wasn't ready and we couldn't get in until 4:30 -- but when we asked to check out at 10:30 a.m. instead of the ridiculously early 10 a.m. they wanted, they refused. This could be a nice, affordable, nicely-set-up resource, but the listing and management agencies exist solely to serve and protect the property owners at the expense of the renters -- which of course ends up bad for the owners, because if tenants are angry, there's no one for the owners to rent to.

Cute apartment

Cute apartment. Obviously newly on market and for the price (and a last minute reservation!) it was worth it. Nice little kitchen, needs a microwave. Windows looked onto the highway from the 2nd story, would be nice to have curtains/blinds on them. The bunk "room" had comfortable beds, but a privacy screen would be great for changing and sleeping as it's open to the rest of the apartment.
