Under major repairs in 2023- Do NOT stay here if you want relaxing vacation.
We checked in after 3pm. When we arrived we could see half the parking was taken due to construction. We were tired and didn’t think a lot of how it would affect us until we were woke up early the next morning to workers yelling, machinery running & them beating under our floor. We were told the piers under the building had to be replaced because of structural integrity. there is yellow caution tape tied off the corner of our porch ( because they were digging the foundation out from under us and bracing it up to tear out the piers). The laundry closet across from our door is closed until after the workers get out from under the bldg. The room across the hallway door is covered in yellow tape. I was not only concerned because they were working under our room and the room across from us that was already closed but I had paid full price to rent out a property that was not disclosed to be under construction. We could not sleep, and could not even be in the room because of the noise. I contacted the office only to be told by the property manager whose office was only on the other side of a building that he could do nothing for us because he was unaware of any construction. If he didn’t know he is not responsible. He would not help. Denied relocation and refused to help. I tried to relocate but by that time I could not find comparable accommodations for us all with double the price and I was going to have to take a loss there. Construction until end of year. Do not stay here.
