Brand New Hidden Spanish Casita in Vista Hills

The newly built Casita is secluded on an amazing 3 acre property in the hills of Vista in North County San Diego. With sprawling views of the surrounding mountains, Carlsbad city lights, and hot air balloons above Del Mar, the Casita is flooding with natural light. Guests enjoy European oak wood floors, 2 patios, marble countertops, custom south facing French doors, central air and full size washer/dryer. Location is minutes from the Carlsbad beaches with easy access to San Diego highways.

The brand new Spanish style home was finished in Jan. 2023 featuring smooth stucco, mudded tile roof, exposed wooden beams, marble countertops, oak wood floors and saltillo tiles. Guests enjoy breathtaking views with custom windows and french doors along with a private separate gated entrance and parking available for up to 4 vehicles. The property has beautiful landscaping including DG (decomposed granite) for easy access, citrus and olive trees. Netflix/Hulu/Amazon/Disney+/internet/utilities all included with 65 inch smart TV. Rest your head on a King bed with a firm and comfy mattress by Sealy Posturepedic in the master bedroom. There is an air mattress available too. The kitchen features all brand new Samsung appliances including gas range hood oven, stove top, dishwasher, and full sized refrigerator and freezer with filtered water/ice. Central Air/Heat throughout. The Casita also has a full sized washer and dryer.

The Casita is accessible via a private gated entrance. The property has nice walking trails with some hills for extra exercise.

My husband and I live on the property above the Casita so available for any questions or requests. The property is situated on 3 acres and very private with separate gate and privacy wall.

We require weekly cleaning for any stay exceeding 7 days for an additional $100. This ensures the Casita is well maintained.

We also require $100 for any additional guests staying overnight or past 11 pm. No more than 5 people total at the Casita.

This is our third stay at the Casita in Vista and we love it! Melissa is very communicative and responds to questions quickly. The kitchen is well stocked and the house had everything we needed. It's in a great location for us since we were visiting family in Vista. We will be back next year!

Nice quiet stay

We really enjoyed our stay. It was very quiet and peaceful. Our grandkids visited and loved the dog!! We will be staying again.

This is our second stay here and we love this place! Great view and design of the house has incredible attention to detail. Everything we could need was available (and more). We will be back again the next time we are in the area.

Wonderful vacation home!

We have stayed in many VRBO vacation rentals, this was our favorite. It is a newly constructed home, everything was beautiful and comfortable. It is very private, has wonderful views, and Melissa was extremely easy to work with and helpful. We will definitely return!

Beautiful location and home

Melissa is a wonderful rental owner! She made checking in very easy. The house is beautifully crafted and the location is just gorgeous! Very peaceful and the smells were incredible. We loved her dog too :) thanks for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful view from a lovely casita

We both really enjoyed staying here. There is a gorgeous view of the Vista hills from the property and the house had everything we needed. Melissa is a gracious and thoughtful host and she responded to messages promptly. We will be back next time we're in Vista.

Relaxing romantic getaway

Perfect private home for romantic getaway. This is our third time to this cute private getaway. The home is clean and very comfortable. We like to escape from our own home which is in the area. Escape the chaos at home for some serenity with beautiful views.

Another great stay!

This is our second time staying here. It is a lovely location and the casita is very clean and comfortable. It is very private which is what my husband and I need for a get away. We never see a single person. Just the two of us reconnecting from our busy lives. Everything about this home is perfect. Thank you for a great stay!

PERFECT!!!

This place couldn't have been any better! We have stayed in many rental by owner properties and this is second to none. Not only was the Casita perfect but Melissa was the perfect host! This was our first time to the area and we weren't familiar with the local restaurants so we followed her recommendations and they were spot on! Thanks again for making our short time in Vista great!

North County Casita

We spent a wonderful week at this Casita in North County San Diego. It has a great location less than 10 minutes from the center of Vista for easy access to restaurants/breweries and only 20 minutes to the beach, but 10 miles inland to enjoy sunny days avoiding the coastal fog. It's perched on a hillside in a quiet semi rural neighborhood. Very bright inside with ample South facing windows to bring in natural light and expansive views of the surrounding hills. The Spanish style Casita is very new, immaculate and well laid out with high-end furniture and kitchen. The bed was extremely soft and comfortable. Powerful AC and ceiling fans for perfect climate control. Covered patio to avoid direct sun and relax. Daily visits from Bingo the friendly Chocolate Lab. Definitely worthy of all the 5 star reviews. No complaints whatsoever. We will certainly return when visiting SoCal again.

The entrance was a bit hard to find especially at night but the host was very kind and met us at the gate (which we thought was the correct entrance, but he showed us over to the actual entrance down the way). The home overlooks the hills of Vista and had an overall atmosphere of peace and quiet. The inside of the home was a casita style dwelling with amazing accommodations for a couple. We also felt very safe knowing Bingo, the friendly chocolate lab was roaming about. Loved our stay!!
