Canal and Pool

We like to stay at places that offer a canal and a pool. This property had both. There was plenty of storage and supplies in the kitchen for cooking. The outdoors could use some TLC, as belongings were left behind and the storage shed was open with things spilling out. The inside was relatively clean. The washer/dryer is always a plus. The living room was very large. The TVs didn't work, but we didn't need them. It was close to the beach and town. There were several grocery stores nearby. Note, they all close pretty early. We had a great time!

Not what was expected

Communication with owner was terrible. Was never given any check in instructions. Had to call a couple days prior to get a code then when we arrived it was the wrong code. Inside of home was clean but outside area was very messy and unkept. Chairs were old and rusty, used paint rollers thrown in the bushes, messy landscaping, and just not clean. Home is advertised with heated pool but pool was iced cold. We called him about this but by the time it heats up it was too late. All in all it could be a great place with the right attention and management.
