When I booked this property, I thought that I was booking for an upscale hotel/condo community. Totally not!! This was an extended stay/weekly rental property. I am not knocking this type of property, but I feel like you should know up front as to what you are booking in advance. If I had known this, I would never had booked this property. Some of the photos were very misleading. Not sure where these photos come from, other than the fact that they were "stock" photos. The kitchen was nothing at all like the photos displayed on the internet. One of the cabinet doors in the kitchen looked like it was falling off. The kitchen chairs were on their very last leg. So rickety they were wobbly. One foot of the footstool had fell off. It reeked of cigarette smoke terribly bad, although it was supposed to be a smoke-free room. The exterior door was in need of a fresh coat of paint. The entrance area to the room, outside the door, was full of cobwebs. Terrible black stains on the concrete right in front of our door. Needed a very good pressure washing. I also thought that like other hotels, I would have the option to cancel my reservation and stay elsewhere if unsatisfied with the property. Nope! No cancelled reservation for any reason. I could have left and went somewhere else but would have lost my money for the night. My husband refused to pay that amount again to stay somewhere for the night. I was willing to, though, if left up to me, I would have just lost my money. For this reason, I will never ever again use VRBO and would never stay in this property again, even for the option of a free night. In the future, I will use recognizable hotel chains, who have very high ratings for customer service. These hotel chains give you the option of staying in their facilities or giving you your money back. I felt very trapped by this whole situation. You had to stay or lose your money.
