Weekend Stay

Our family stayed here for Spring Weekend at FSU. House is adequate but dated. Master bed was uncomfortable. Kitchen has all necessary equipment. We did not use the pool (needed a good cleaning), Fire pit was stocked with wood, but we did not have time to use it. Parking for 3 vehicles in driveway. We would stay here again.

Nice stay overall

The house was comfortable for our mini family reunion. The convenient location in a pleasant neighborhood, sprawling sectional, large outdoor picnic table, 4 bedrooms, and 3 baths were the structure that made the stay work. Some of the lesser details were disappointing. We booked for 6 people to stay and expected the house to accommodate that number of people. However, there were only 3 dinner plates and 4 small plates. There was plenty of silverware. There were sufficient pots and pans to make do for stovetop cooking, but there were no pans for use inside the oven. The photos showed 6 chairs at the dining table, which was important to us, but there were only 4 chairs. The beds were comfortable, though squeeky. They each had a single coverlet and there were no additional blankets in the house (we even asked and were not provided any). We ended up buying our own blankets because some of us were cold when others were warm. The towels were thick and soft and plentiful. It was convenient and appreciated that the house was stocked with hand soap, dish soap, shampoo, toilet paper, and a starter roll of paper towels. Be aware that the hot water takes several minutes to reach the kitchen. Don't give up when the water is merely warm for a long time, the hot water will get there eventually.

It is a nice house.

Clean, nice backyard. No products in bathroom, just hand soap. Beds are very soft. Spacious. Limited kitchen supplies. But overall quite nice place to stay.

Provided a calm shelter

We evacuated to Tallahassee to get away from hurricane. This VRBO was a relaxed, family friendly place to rest.

Weekend getaway

We came to see our daughter for the weekend. It was so nice to have a house with a big backyard to stay at rather than a hotel. The house could use a few updates but was very comfortable and we could all stay together. I wish it had been warmer to enjoy the pool, which a great feature with the right weather.

We rented the house because our grandson graduated from FSU. The property suited our needs quite well. A few more cooking utensils and knives would have been nice. We appreciated that coffee was provided.

FSU parents weekend

We booked this property for parents weekend. Everything was great! The house was clean, lots of towels. Pretty close to campus and all the activities. Would definitely book again!

Quiet Neighborhood/Roomy House

The neighborhood is extremely quiet. Never saw another person in the 5 days we were there. Quiet street as well. The house is centrally located in Tallahassee with easy access to any part of the town. The home is equipped with a massive amount of towels and paper supplies, which is a rarity. The place suited our needs and we'll be staying here when we return. Jolonda is a great host and took care of any question or concern that we had.
