This property is a peaceful and sprawling Kingston retreat, located close enough to all the attractions the Hudson Valley has to offer but far enough away to enjoy all 10 peaceful acres.

Equipped with a pool, BBQ, hot tub, gaming room, wet bar and ample parking, you'll have everything you need and more while staying in your home away from home.

The space
Gallis Hill is a high point on the Ashokan Ridge that has historical significance as on old watchtower location.

Gallis Hill House is a 5,300 SF south-facing home that’s surrounded by 10 acres of sprawling woodland. It has 5 roomy bedrooms and 3.5 baths.

When you arrive at the home, you’ll drive up a scenic tree-lined driveway then park near the front entrance. When you open the front door, you’ll see spectacular windows on the other side of the large open living room, looking out into the woods beyond.

The charming living room includes a fireplace, large picture windows and 20’ ceilings. There’s also a large (and cozy!) leather sectional sofa and a 75” TV…perfect for movie nights!

The western wing of the home has 4 bedrooms including:

- Two king beds
- Two queen beds

The luxurious king bed suite has high ceilings and a gas fireplace (with remote control!) with views of the pool and beautiful woodland beyond. It also has an ensuite bathroom with a 2-seated bathtub and walk-in shower.

The western wing also includes 3 more bedrooms, a hot tub, spa room, bathroom and a comfortable work space.

The eastern wing of the home has a large kitchen featuring granite countertops, an island with bar stool seating, tons of cabinet space and well appointed cooking appliances and accessories. You’ll be able to whip up some gourmet dishes in this kitchen for sure.

The eastern wing also includes a dining room (overlooking the pool) and a furnished sunroom with large screened windows on 3 sides. You’ll love hanging out in this room on summer days and nights, playing your favorite tunes for everyone on the JBL bluetooth speaker. This room is also a lovely place to have coffee or greet the sun with some morning stretching.

As you go downstairs, you’ll see another living area that’s the perfect place to entertain. You’ll see a wet bar, pool table, ping pong table and a “Banksy-inspired gaming room” with a giant 5 foot Chill Sack beanbag and 2 leather sofas.

The downstairs also includes a 5th bedroom, another bathroom and a small home gym. Everything is tied together in a spacious open floor plan.

There are a total of 5 bedrooms (3 queen and 2 king) that sleep up to 10 people. If you have 11 or 12 guests, then we can provide an air bed or a single cot in the gaming room.

The outdoor space is perfect for some quality relaxing time with friends and family – including a swimming pool (open each year Memorial Day through Labor Day), chaise lounges, hot tub, gas-powered BBQ grill and an outdoor dining area.

When you're finally ready for bed, you'll find that each bed is luxuriously outfitted with cotton sheets, an alternative down duvet and 4 alternative down pillows.

One of the best parts? You may see some beautiful creatures like beavers, deer and rabbits while you're staying at the house -- whether you're outside exploring the woods, or inside looking out the large picture windows.
