Enjoy beautiful views on premier Lake Carlos located on Alexandria’s Chain of Lakes! This walkout rambler has northern views on a quiet part of the lake. Close to Lake Carlos Marina, Lake Carlos State Park, Zorbaz, Lure Lakebar, Carlos Creek Winery, and the head of the Long Prairie river; there is never a lack of fun options for any vacationer. Have a boat? Tie up to our dock and enjoy all Lake Carlos and the chain has to offer. This includes fishing, surfing, restaurants and more. Enjoy golfing? There are 11 golf courses near Alexandria. Visiting in the winter? Cozy up in front of the two sided wood burning fireplace after skiing/snowboarding at Andes Tower Hills or shopping in historic downtown.

This home is located on a quiet street with little traffic. There is a bonus kitchen/bar area in the downstairs. Each bedroom has a bathroom conveniently located. Use the table (with a gas fire option) outside the walkout to enjoy a meal with family or friends overlooking the lake.

Awesome cabin!

The location was great and the cabin itself was updated yet still had a cabin feeling to it! The kitchen area was perfect for cooking for large groups, the outdoors spaces were newly updated, and the front yard was perfect for lawn games. There is no shortage of activities around the area from golf to wine tasting.

Perfect getaway

Beautiful home. Crystal clear water. My only complaint is the bugs/mosquitoes. You can’t really enjoy the beautiful deck or the hammocks. Maybe if they sprayed? Either way so much to do in that area. Amazing host! Thank you we hope to be back.

Girls Trip - High School Friends

The house was very nice, well-maintained, and clean. It had a great open layout, so the 7 of us could be on the deck, in the sunroom, in the kitchen or living room and all be in on the conversations. Each day was in the 90s so we didn't use the outdoor grill or fire pit, although both were very nice. Loved sitting on the dock near the lake, as well as viewing the lake from most every window. It slept 7 comfortably, but could have slept 9.

Fantastic Lakeside Getaway

Enjoy your coffee in the morning while looking out the huge picture window as the sun rises across the lake. It’s like you are on an ocean liner with unobstructed views of the water. Plenty of living space for entertaining. Comfortable beds. Large, flat front yard for entertaining or just letting the kids run around. Head down to the lake for a beautiful sunset and roast some smores in the fire pit. Enormous dock to sunbathe or have some fun in the lake. We had a wonderful time ! Don’t forget the host, Amy. She will respond right away if you need anything. You won’t be disappointed with this rental. It was fantastic.

As native Minnesotans, our family of 6 dreamed of having a retreat on beautiful Lake Carlos, on the much-desired chain of lakes. In July of 2022, this dream became a reality. We are thrilled to share our little piece of paradise with you. We have been feathering our nest with updates and comfort items to make sure you love this space as much as we do! We hope that you will stay with us again as we are continually updating our Cozy Carlos Cottage.
