Summary:
Casa Semana is the ideal place to come together with family & friends for a beautiful beachfront vacation. You'll have all the amenities you want & need to enjoy your stay. The kitchen is well stocked for preparing meals in the home and there are many options for nearby restaurants. We have a binder full of recommendations for you to enjoy on your trip.

The views and beach access can't get any better, as you can step out the door and off the patio, right into the sand.

The Space:
Bienvenidos a la Casa Semana!

Casa Semana is a beautiful beachfront home on the pristine beach of Playa La Jolla, where you can step off the patio and right into the sand. This 4 bedroom 4 bathroom home can sleep up to 18 guests with use of sleeper sofas. The house is beautifully decorated and has ample space to enjoy time with your family & friends.

1 of the bedrooms and bathrooms is located in a private casita with a full kitchen and living room with an additional sleeper sofa.

The living and dining room have views of the beautiful beach, as do the 2 main suites. The kitchen provides all the necessary components for family meals with dinnerware, cookware and more.

The outdoor spaces at Casa Semana are incredible. There is a large courtyard, and the beachfront patio is amazing! For the very best views, take the staircase up to the rooftop margarita deck where you can take it ALL in!

Playa Encanto is considered to be one of the best beaches in the region! The sand is soft and the beach is not rocky. You'll often feel like you have the entire beach to yourself. The sunrise & sunset are spectacular! If you're really lucky you may have the opportunity to spot dolphins, whales or even baby sea turtles making their way to sea. It truly is an Enchanted Beach!

Not only is the community of Playa Encanto beautiful, it is also family friendly & SAFE. Playa Encanto is gated with 24 hour security and patrols.

While Playa Encanto is away from the hustle & bustle of town, it is just a 15 minute drive to get to all of the action! There is also plenty to do in Playa Encanto. The Estuary is a 5 minute drive as is Punta Roja Ostionera; where you can enjoy fresh oysters & crab tostdadas. At Punta Roja, you can bring your own beverages to enjoy with your meal. Just outide of the Playa Encanto gate is Encantame Resort. Encantame has a starbucks, cafe & high-end restaurant name Santo Coyote; all are open to the public and have rave reviews!

Casa Semana Stay

We had an amazing experience at Casa Semana. The house was beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed being just steps from the ocean. Debra was a wonderful host and was prompt and accommodating in all our communications. We'd definitely stay here again!

Great house for all ages!

I've stayed in RP many times, but this was our first time at Playa Encanto and it was gorgeous!! This house was perfect for family of all ages, big and open layout, with the most amazing beach at your doorstep! Would definitely recommend!

Great House!

The house is awesome and the backyard has a beautiful prívate beach! Some of the furniture pieces can be updated but over all highly recommended!

perfect!

We head to Playa Encanto just about every March and Casa Semana was perfect! Communication with the hosts was above and beyond and the house was ideal for our group. We love the 2 ocean-facing masters and the kids loved the bunk room.The location on the beach was great. We look forward to staying with them again in the future.

Casa Semana

Beautiful property with beach access right outside the back door. Upstars sitting area or back porch aremagnificent for relaxing after a day of swimming. Wonderful experience with the propery management, they take care of every need or concern! Do yourself a favor and book this property!

Awesome place to stay!

Had a great time at Casa Semanas. House was perfect for 18 of us. Living room and back porch were great for large group. Beach was quiet and neighborhood seemed really safe. Didn’t mind the short drive into town for groceries and restaurants. Host was awesome! We left a small bag of items and they graciously accepted our request to mail it to us! Thank you! Would definitely stay here next time we visit Rocky Point!

Wonderful!

Our stay at Casa Semana was great! It was our second time staying there and it was just as good as we had remembered. There was lots of room for everyone, the house was clean. Loved having the ac units in each room. It took a bit for them to cool down the first night, but after that it was perfect. The kitchen is very well stocked. We loved having the beach steps away and that it isn’t crowded. There were plenty of towels for both bathing and the beach. It was very comfortable and I’d recommend it for a group wanting a pleasant stay in Rocky Point away from all the hustle and bustle of the resorts.

Fabulous Mexico Mansion

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay! We had three friends that came in from Europe, and also friends that on their own vacation rentals. Everyone was very impressed and very happy! We highly recommend this home and the beautiful beach that it is on. It is very quiet Where we stayed and the ride to town was about 20 minutes long. We prefer to bring all of our food and drink so we don’t have to go into town however. One houseguest said she prefers to stay closer to town so she can run in and out of town for whatever she needs, but we prefer to stay out of town as much as we can.

Clean and beautiful

I recently stayed at Casa Semana, a beach house rental, for the weekend and had an amazing experience. The house was in a great location, just steps away from the beach. Casa Semana was beautifully decorated and had all of the amenities that we needed. We had plenty of space to spread out and the outdoor deck at Casa Semana was perfect for relaxing and taking in the amazing views of the ocean. The kitchen at Casa Semana was well-equipped with all the essentials and we were able to make some delicious meals. The host at Casa Semana was very accommodating and friendly, making sure that we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend Casa Semana beach house rental to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable weekend.

Nice house...not so friendly neighbors

The home was fine....we had an issue within the home and it was taken care of immediately. The issue was that our neighbors had a construction crew redoing their balcony, and we had drills, pounding hammers, and debris flying all over the place from 7:00 am until 4:00. No bueno because we could not utilize our beautiful covered patio. .

Multigenerational Family Trip!

We stayed at this property before with a previous owner. The new hosts/owner updated the property a lot. We stayed for 5 nights with 3 generations. There was something for everyone. Children ranging from 5-18. The beach is the best beach in town. It’s private, quiet, perfect for fishing and body boarding. Our family brought bar bells and worked out on the top deck. Shell hunting was awesome. The kitchen is well stocked with a large pantry space to bring food and snacks. There is a traditional coffee pot, 5 gallon water/dispenser, plenty of towels and gas grill. The casita was perfect for grandma and grandpa to have their own space. We enjoyed massages on the back deck. The hosts were awesome! We texted them throughout our stay and they were very responsive and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Thanksgiving Get away

The house was clean, supplied with paper products, plenty of towels, as a cook I found everything I needed for our bountiful fish dinner. The .purified water supplied was an added touch. The bedrooms were beautiful and comfortable. The outdoor furniture was comfortable and in great condition.the living room was a great place to gather as well. Over the past 28 years I have visited Rocky Point this house is the winner. The casita was perfect for my 82 yr old mom she felt right at home and retired to bed without hearing the main house. Cons: the front court yard door was gone. I did have a dog gate to solve the problem. The casita TV was not logging on to the internet. But who is at the beach to watch TV ( not me). I hope to choose this home again.

Prime location

The location of the property is amazing, right on the beach. I think that’s what you are paying for. I did find the casita to be lacking in dishes and wasn’t sure if I was allowed to bring over items from the main house. I think for the price you pay you should have access to the garage and washer and dryer but you don’t so just a heads up on that to future renters. There should definitely be more linens available if it’s being advertised to sleep 19. The place was clean except for the microwave in the casita and the main house kitchen was well stocked. Community is nice and quiet. There are vendors that come to you directly at your place and take orders for food and snacks and then deliver back to you so that is nice. I reached out about extra linens to the owner and never received a response. Not sure i would return here for our next visit.

Thank you for your feedback, we work hard to ensure our guests enjoy their stay and to respond promptly. We did received your message regarding the fridge temp & linens at 10:30pm the night of your arrival. We didn't see the messages until the following morning and responded immediately at 7:30 am. Luckily the fridge had already cooled down. I mentioned the sleeper sofas are already made with linens and ready to be pulled out. All the beds are made: 2 kings, 2 queens, 2 large sleeper sofas, 3 single beds (as a bunk), 2 full size (as a bunk) and then there are linens for the futon in the casita too. It was my understanding that you were all set after our messages, as we didn't hear anything more from you. As for the laundry, many properties in Playa Encanto do not provide access to laundry because the community is on hauled water. For this reason we do not list laundry as an amenity. If guests request access, we will come unlock the laundry for temporary use. For guests staying longer than 4 nights, we do allow use. We are diligent about checking the water cistern so that our guests don't run out and have the cistern filled throughout your stay. We will see how we can better equip the casita kitchen. The casita accommodates 3 guests so we have it setup as a kitchenette with some basic pots, pans, coffee maker, etc. I am sorry for any miscommunication. Thank you for your stay.
