In Jesup for a family wedding at The 1788 Ranch, my wife and I sought a peaceful, yet conveniently located home for our stay. The Serenity Cabin checked all the boxes!Access to the home was seamless, in which we, upon entry, were greeted by scenic views through the picture windows, and comfortable amenities. While recognizing its purpose, the home exhibits careful consideration was given to curating features intended to ensure guest comfort without being indulgent or pretentious. Indoors and out, the property was exceptionally clean and tidy. During our downtime, we enjoyed sitting on the deck, which extends over the adjacent pond, watching the plentiful fish and basking in the abundant sunshine. Being near the water, the host took extra care ahead of our stay to minimize the presence of mosquitoes. While the purpose of our stay was very simply serenity and sanctuary, the host provides a number of options for entertainment & relaxation which would appeal to couples and small families alike, including an outdoor grill, firepit, kayak, fishing gear (catch & release only), and plenty of outdoor seating.Last, our host Mary was excellent. Communication was concise and pleasant, yet unobtrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again!
