In the Heart of the Northwoods

Completely remodeled quarters for your Northwood Vacation, in the heart of Langlade County, across from the golf course and close to many lakes. This is an upstairs unit with private entrance, sleeps 4 with a queen bedroom and full size excellent quality futon in living room.
( Bedding provided) Full kitchen including free coffee. Bathroom with shower, included towels. Ample parking for your trailers. Private entry above a country store open 4 days a week. This is a no smoking rental. We are on the atv/utv trail and the snowmobile trails. There are many excellent restaurants near by or everything you need to cook your own meals.

The property was very convenient for us during our stay. Check-in was easy and the place was very clean. The air conditioner did not work our first night, but the host got it replaced the very next day. Their quick attention to this was really appreciated.

Great location and nice loft for 1 to 4 people. Great location for hiking Ice Age Trail. Only surprises were lack of coffee maker filters (I was able to buy them at BP station very nearby, but generally provided by other hosts) and a tricky door lock for leaving the place locked which I eventually figured out. Probably can be fixed by host. But these are small matters....Otherwise a wonderful stay and highly recommend.

Convenient location on a main road. Near several good restaurants and above a small ice cream shop!We were there when it was very hot (beginning of July). The air conditioning could not handle the heat so it was very warm as the apartment is upstairs.

Thank you for your review! We're so glad you enjoyed the convenient location, being close to several great restaurants, and having an ice cream shop right downstairs. We're sorry the apartment wasn't as comfortable as it should have been during your stay. Your visit happened during an exceptionally hot stretch of weather, and unfortunately the air conditioner struggled to keep up with the extreme temperatures. We wish we had known during your stay that it wasn't cooling adequately, as we would have done everything we could to address it right away. After our next guests also reported that the air conditioner wasn't working properly, we replaced the unit during their stay to ensure future guests are comfortable. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope you'll consider visiting again in the future.

We had such a great stay at this adorable cabin above Pike 55. The space was spotless, cozy, and exactly what we were hoping for. The bed was super comfortable, and the whole place had a warm, welcoming feel that made it easy to relax right away.Check-in was simple, everything was well set up, and the location was perfect. It was quiet, clean, and just an overall easy and enjoyable stay.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and charming getaway in Pickerel.

Convenient location

We have stayed here in the past and were visiting family in Pickerel. We spent a lot of time at Campfire Bar and Grille so this was such a convenient spot to stay and perfect for what we needed it for!

Great Location

This is a great location to get at the golf course within walking distance and ATV/snowmobile trails. Plus a great bar/restaurant across the street.

Awesome little place “downtown“ Pickerel!

Great little spot right in Pickerel. Great food right across street! Awesome little store in the downstairs of building- ice cream, cheese curds, gifts!!!

Great little place

We enjoy staying right in Pickerel. It’s close to many lakes and local establishments. We could walk to a couple, and be to others in less than ten minutes.
