Fully renovated 3 bed/2bath home on a private lake sitting on 25 acres in the country! Remodel was professionally designed and has a cool beachfront vibe. Lots of fresh air, open space, deer and other animals. Short drive to either Alabama or Mississippi State sporting events. Super family friendly with enough sleeping capacity for 12. Complete with fun outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, hunting and swinging from the 25 ft tire swing! Has fully functional kitchen and laundry room, has everything you need except the food you want. Home is equipped with wifi and 2 large screen tv’s prefect for streaming your favorites shows. Escape the weekend game crowds in Starkville and Tuscaloosa and relax in this little piece of country paradise!

We had a wonderful stay over the Fourth of July while visiting family in Mississippi. The property’s location in Ethelsville was perfect for us—it was only about 15 minutes from our family, making it incredibly convenient while still giving us a peaceful place to unwind.The house is beautiful and tucked away in the countryside, surrounded by nature. It was a nice change of pace from our usual scenery in Texas. Being right in front of the lake made it even more relaxing, and we really enjoyed the quiet, peaceful atmosphere.The host was very accommodating and responsive throughout our stay. We also appreciated that the host’s dad, who lives next door, stopped by to introduce himself and make sure we had everything we needed. That personal touch made us feel very welcome.Overall, we had a great experience and would absolutely stay here again if we’re back in the area. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with exceptional hospitality.

Relaxed home in a rural area. Plenty of room for the family to gather. Well stocked kitchen for family meals. Close enough to Columbus Air Force Base without being in town.

This was an incredible stay for our family. The location is super convenient and yet surrounded by great outdoors. The property is very clean and well stocked for your stay. Melissa is very responsive if there's any need. We left feeling so thankful we could enjoy our time!

Ideal place for large families

Stayed here two nights for our daughter’s graduation in Starkville. Family enjoyed fishing and just being outdoors…house is big and spacious. Decor is nice and had a very homey feel to the house. Would definitely stay here again if need arose!

Best VRBO ever!

This lovely home is just as advertised. Exceptionally clean, quiet, secluded in the countryside. Kitchen stocked with virtually anything you could want. Close to Columbus where there are plenty of eating/shopping opportunities. Highly recommend Zachary’s for a great lunch/dinner. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

This property was originally purchased by my grandparents years ago and was a total of 47 acres. My grandparents house sits next door where my dad and step mom now live. My aunt and her husband built this house and my husband and I purchased it and the 25 acres from her in 2021. We fully renovated the house top to bottom and frequently come back to visit our family and enjoy this little piece of country paradise.

This house is private with a beautiful lakefront view. Our kids enjoy fishing, swimming in the lake, hiking through the forest and swinging from the 25ft tire swing. There is so much open space for kids to be kids and even a batting cage for your baseball/softball players. At night you will enjoy the firepit and the beautiful starlight sky. The house is 10 min from downtown Columbus, MS and many shops, restaurants and golf courses. Golden Triangle Airport is only 20 min away so it is super easy to travel in and out of. The house is a perfect spot to stay if you are wanting to catch an Alabama or Mississippi State game as we are only a short 45 min drive to Tuscaloosa and 25 min drive to Starkville. This is a perfect spot for parents or families that want to avoid the crowds and craziness but still go to the games.
