Clean hotel/budget friendly

We stayed here for 2 nights and had no problems with the hotel itself. Clean and saved a little money by not staying down in the middle of the strip which we were ok with. The neighborhood around it isn't the best but only for a couple blocks. We walked down to the strip during the day and it was totally fine. It's about a 2.5mile walk to the Flamingo. We taxied back. I wouldn't walk it at night. I missed the fine print so be aware that the listing price you pay is not the final cost. Going through VRBO it shows you the total price at checkout. I was naive and thought this was it but be aware it's 40 to park, 56 per day resort fee and a damage fee of 75 per day (which we got back). Overall, I would recommend to save a few bucks!

RESORT FEES

ISSUES PAYING FOR PARKING USING THE AUTOMATED PAY SYSTEM. AN ATTENDANT HAD TO USE AN ON-SITE TABLET TO REGISTER ME.WAS NOT AWARE THAT RESORT FEES WOULD BE ADDITIONAL FEES UNTIL RIGHT BEFORE MY TRIP. HAD I KNOWN AT THE TIME OF BOOKING, I WOULD NOT HAVE STAYED AT THE STRATOSPHERE IN LAS VEGAS.

Location wasnt ideal and check in was an extremely long time. They're age 2 people checking a long line in with about 15 empty check in desks, so a lot more could've been helping.

Loved Our Experience

The room was spacious and very clean. The location was amazing. We did both the High Roller and the Zip Line. Very fun. We also at two restaurants and we had a blast!

STRAT Struggles

Strat’s systems are NOT working as a well oiled machine should. 👎 Repeated issues with getting room service even after calling housekeeping and front desk to schedule! 👎Reserved Cabanna double booked 👎24 and up pool not clean. Excessive paint chipping on edge. 👎Wi Fi constant problems which impacted my work! 👎Rouge Show not high quality ! 👎Hotel in general was NOT kept clean High lights! 👍💕Patricia and Ali at 8th fl poolAwesome 👍💕Dining on top view! Cheap, sort of. Bad neighborhood

Generally speaking it’s a cheap place to stay. You are paying resort fees though. And you’re paying for parking too ( which you will anywhere on the strip). The rooms are a little run down. I see they do have renovated rooms for an extra cost. But they need to renovate all the rooms really
