The cabin is well stocked. We found everything we needed for our stay. We especially enjoyed the outdoor seating area and the pool.

Cabin fun

Great quick getaway! Peaceful surroundings and lovely cabin. The kids enjoyed the pool, playing outdoors, and the fire pit.

Wonderful!!!

The house is great! The pool is amazing! Great location! We went to New Orleans and Gulfport twice each. Super easy drive! Everything about it was perfect!

I'm not sure what more could be done to satisfy this guest. She had multiple payment issues, one of which declined which we helped her through. She consistently had questions prior to check in which we accommodated. All of this led to her first message of the stay being a complaint about condiments left in the fridge, which every other guest we have hosted on multiple platforms has either requested or thanked us for. Additionally, we provided her with a long list of attractions including the beach, a waterpark, state park, and dozens of restaurants and other attractions within 5 minutes of the property. This is all on top of the 20x40 heated/cooled pool, 20 acres of land with trails, multiple kayaks for the preserve, and a dozen different games that we provide as part of our property. If all of that isn't enough for the kids to do then I don't believe the property, which has received nothing but 5 star reviews on multiple platforms to date, is the issue.

Family vacation

Property was as expected. 3 generations of family,,,pool was biggest hit,,we spent alot of time in pool. We made use of grill. And large table in kitchen held all11 us for nightly games. Very nice family vacation with wonderful memories

Mississippi Coast

The Cabin was a perfect place for our family. We had 14 and there was ample room for everyone. The cabin was just as listed on 20 secluded acres with a beautiful pool and many games to entertain all the different ages. We explored from New Orleans to Biloxi and were never more than an hour from our retreat. Not a beach house but better and the beach is only a couple of minutes away. Highly recommend this place.

Making FAMILY memories

The Cabin was beautiful and very spacious. Mr. Larry, our Host for the property was outstanding. Due to the inclement weather, we could enjoy the pool one day out of our stay. It didn't stop us from enjoying playing games and cards inside. The kitchen was well stocked with many condiments for cooking. Overall, it was a great trip for all of us on this girls' trip. I would book this property again. Thanks again Mr. Larry!

Peaceful setting in the woods

*extremely comfortable beds *beautiful setting and great location *excellent communication with the host *responded to requests very quickly- very accommodating, very friendly Things to be aware of (not complaints - just to help you plan) *we were hoping to spend a lot of time in the evenings in the outdoor area below the house, grilling etc. even with the wonderful (huge fans) they have, the bugs were too much. We had lots of bug spray as well. Might have just been the time of year. This was an issue from about 3:30-7:30 * the beach is less than a mile away - easy walk. If you want to drive, there is no place to park unless you go a couple miles further down to the Waveland public beach * the kayaks were advertised for use, but there wasn’t a good place to put them in on property or even a little ways away from the property. You would need a truck to transport them, but it was not an easy put in. *would be nice addition to have a golf cart available to take to the beach and back Thanks for a great week

Perfect family paradise

This stylish cabin has everything! There were 8 of us (could accommodate so many more) gathering for a family vacay. The heated pool was the star attraction complete with floaties, umbrellas, balls, and sunset views over a wetland sanctuary behind the property. We brought bags of board games and cards but there were plenty there, too. The bonfire pit was amazing for s’more and stargazing nights. Bring binoculars for birdwatching. Easy to walk to the beach or take a scenic drive to Bay St. Louis (look for the cemetery with the angel tree). We cooked almost every meal, appreciating the well-stocked cabinets of pots, pans, bowls, cutting boards, utensils, plate sets & dishwasher. If you have children, they pretty much have their own suite downstairs. We so enjoyed all of the outdoor games: corn hole, ping pong, some ball & bouncy net game, darts, hopscotch, shuffle board (more). Larry was very responsive any time we had a question. If you bring bicycles, it’s so easy to ride to the beach that has a fabulous cycling path.my husband brought dirt bikes and went on nearby trails one day. 2 bedrooms upstairs get sunrises and one gets the sunsets. I miss the sunsets already. Thankful.

This was our first time attending Cruisin’ the Coast, and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay!The cabin was incredibly clean, spacious, comfortable, and truly felt like a home away from home. Our host was wonderful; thoughtful, responsive, and great with communication from beginning to end. It was also obvious that a lot of thought went into all the little “extras” throughout the cabin that made our stay feel especially welcoming.The location was perfect! We were close enough to easily get to everything we wanted to do, but far enough away to come home each evening to a quiet, peaceful country setting surrounded by trees and nature. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind after busy days at the event.Another HUGE plus: parking! There were five of us traveling with trucks and car trailers, and we had plenty of room to comfortably accommodate everything.We had an incredible stay, made some wonderful memories, and would absolutely stay here again. If we return for Cruisin’ the Coast next year, this will be the first place we look to book!Highly recommend!

The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and utensils. There were several savory spices in the cupboard as well. The beds were comfortable. The loft/common area really only had the one bed and one small “couch” and chairs. The fans in the outdoor area were awesome…especially the one you could turn on facing the pool in the heat of the day! We did however notice a septic odor outside sometimes and the smell wafted into the king bedroom when the wind was blowing that direction. All in all, it was great. We all enjoyed the pool and gathering area under the cabin.

The Cabin on the Coast was a great choice for our family. Easy check in and out. Great communication with the host. Close to the beach. Large, clean salt-water pool we used daily. Well stocked pantry and good "starting" supplies. Two fridges. Lots of outdoor games and activities. Space for the family to spread out. Close to New Orleans, so and easy escape for a few days away.
