The farm has been in our family since the 1860’s. Sit outside with your coffee to watch the sun rise while cattle graze. Or, relax with an outdoor fire pit while the sun sets. Great place - close to Marshall and Longview.

Our family had a great time and the location was convenient. Lots of room to relax and enjoy our time together. The cows make a great alarm clock!

House was great and very clean. I would have liked to have known beforehand that there was only a washer and not a dryer.

Hi Lauren. There is a dryer in the garage storage room. The door accessing this area is locked unless a guest wants to use the dryer since we store personal yard tools and refrigerator items. My apologies to you.

What’s not to love about this farm! The host has thoughtfully furnished the home, the property details and instructions were perfect and the cows out in the pasture provided us with a serene view and feeling

A serene and comfortable place

This place is a hidden gem. It is very close to Marshall proper. The grounds are beautiful. The house is very spacious with all the mod cons necessary. This is our second time to stay, and we hope to come back in the spring.

Beautiful home & surroundings

This is a very spacious, clean, & well equipped home. Every mod con available including wifi & DISH. The kitchen is very conducive to meal preps. Marshall proper is approximately 4 miles away. We definitely recommend this place to couples, families, and weekend “retreaters”.

Well….the house was extremely clean and comfortable. Our only complaint was that the water heater wasn’t sufficient for more than one person to have a hot/warm shower. I stayed for two days and didn’t get a shower.

Recommended

This house was great. It was roomy, clean, and well maintained. It was idea for my family that was visiting from the UK. We didn't realize until.a day before check in that no toilet paper could be flushed in the septic system. We were able to manage this, but it would have been nice to know this up front. I still highly recommend this home to use when traveling to the area.

Location allows access to historic Jefferson, the mystique of Caddo Lake, Lake O’the Pines, Longview, Hallsville and endless history in area museums. Close access to Dallas, Austin and Houston areas for a long weekend getaway.
