Lena’s Fall 2022 Trip

This property is absolutely AMAZING!! I had my friends come for dinner, two people, and they thought the same and also said That it looks like I decorated the home! Totally my style. Positive vibes, beautiful art, comfortable beds, and the BEST washer and dryer set I’ve ever used!! I especially like the double doors on the washer! It’s great for not over loading. The en-suite was private and honestly, I loved the cute little sink. The cabinet door opens and has a shelf for storage on it. The only negatives were….the toilet paper roll holder in the en-suite,, it simply need to be remounted as it’s loose. The gate is a little tricky, but a very nice smooth rock is there and I used this to keep the one side open for driveway use. The door wouldn’t lock every single time I used the code. I did forget to send this to the owner, and I know she will take care of it for sure! She is so nice, very communicative, and is available for anything you may need. When my daughter comes to town again, I plan to rent this home again if available. Maybe I’ll book my one day next year I know I’ll need it? Hmmm. Really, I cannot say enough positives about the place! The yard is amazing…. Ok there is one major dealbreaker for a lot of people, and mind you I LOVE this place! However, it’s location, while close to the highway, isn’t in the best of neighborhoods. One night, my daughter heard some scratching; like maybe someone was trying to use a key to get in and the key was scratching the lock. We never saw anyone, but in the morning, a brand new bag of BBQ Lays Potato chips were on the window ledge to the left of the door. That window leads to the closet of the first bedroom. It appears there’s a secondary lock on the window. I say, just be cognizant of your surroundings and lock all your doors before bed. It’s not all that scary, but just know that it is a little less desirable of a neighborhood for many. But the whole package… the good totally outweighs the bad. And there’s always something that goes wrong and if it’s not a dealbreaker on the neighborhood, it’s a gem of a place. The yard is HUGE!! Thanks to Chantel for sharing such a beautiful place. I kinda wish I could buy the place!! It’s really that cute and so pleasant. Happy Vacation Hunting!!
