Stay at our recently renovated, beautiful, rural Iowa Farmhouse

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful country farmhouse.
Located in southeast Iowa, a short distance from Hwy218/27 on a hard surface county road.
No steps to enter the first floor, and we are pet friendly.
Large parking area with a two- car garage.
For your outside enjoyment there is a fire pit, abundant shade trees, rap around porch, and concrete patio with picnic table and barbeque grill.
A fully equipped kitchen and all linens and towels provided.

Beautiful & peaceful country area. Marty is a great host who went out of his way to make us feel at home. It was super comfortable and we had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay and made many great memories!

The Best Place Ever

By far the best vacation rental I have ever used. Will look to use again if we will be in the area. Worth the 40 minute drive to the sites we were there to visit over multiple days.

Beautiful & Peaceful

Marty has an absolutely beautiful property! There is not a single thing missing from this rental that you could think of. Will definitely be looking to book marty's acreage again next year!

Bridal party

We had our wedding at the hitching post and we had a lot of out of town guests. It was super convenient to stay here instead of traveling 15 - 20 minutes to the closest hotel. Check in was super easy, very clean, and everyone had a great stay. Thank you so much!

Great Farm House

This was our first Vrbo experience. It was great!! Marty, the property manager, helped us with an issue, no problem. The home is very cozy and welcoming. It allowed our 82 year old father to really enjoy our trip to Iowa from Pennsylvania to Old Threshers. We would definitely stay here again!!!
