The biggest disappointment was the pool. It is very dishonest to use a pool picture to advertise a place, only to show up and see that the pool has not even been cleaned in months; the water was disgustingly filthy. The room was cleaned sufficiently and we were pleased with the bed, shower, and sofa, but the carpets had multiple stains, including one that looked like blood. The furniture was in tough shape, with chipped wood and bad paint jobs in the inside doors. The hotel is clearly primarily used by people as short term living rather than an overnight stay for travelers, and the people sleeping at all hours of the day on chairs in the lobby gave the place the feeling of a homeless shelter.
