Oceanfront Penthouse with wrap-around porch offering direct 270 degree unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean and Hilton Head Island. Daufuskie Island Beachfront property with miles of secluded beaches along with a private outdoor pool for condo residents and guests. This condo has an open floor plan, cable TV, free wifi, fully-equipped kitchen and laundry room, lines and towels, beach chairs, and much more. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, a private bathroom, and its own balcony entrance. A second bedroom with a queen sized bed is attractively furnished and also has its own bathroom. The third bedroom has two twin beds and its own bathroom. There is a seasonal outdoor pool in the complex. Steps away from the boardwalk to a beautiful, secluded beach with unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean.
“No Bridge, No Problem”

One of Daufuskie Island’s charms is the fact that it is one of the few islands in South Carolina without a bridge to the mainland and can only be reached by ferry. As a result, the beaches are private, uncrowded, and secluded.

This is a very quiet island appealing to those trying to avoid noisy crowds. Great place with an awesome view . Walks on the beach and reading a good book for those who enjoy the solitude . There is much history on this island for those who like to explore. Sunsets are unbelievable.

The inside of the condo was fabulous. The new rocking chairs were great. The outside table and chairs is in bad shape (most of the chairs were broken). If you are in the kitchen standing in front of the sink, to the left there were “insects” (don’t know what they were) coming from behind the backsplash. The toilet kept running in the room to the left (as you come into the condo), so you might want to have that checked out. Had an excellent time and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely condo with lovely views

My husband & I recently stayed at this condo. The views are amazing. Right on quiet beach, gorgeous sunrises. The only negative was that we had hard time getting out doors onto balcony. I did email owner who promptly emailed me back. Seems doors are extremely heavy, to withstand hurricane winds. We were able to use lubricant in utility room for purpose of making door slide easier. Much better after that.

Beautiful view and sunrise

The home was beautiful three spacious bedrooms, three en suite bathrooms. There were six of us and we had the best time ever. The house was clean and very comfortable. Kristin was very easy to get hold of for just a couple questions that we had. It’s on the top floor of the condos and it’s on the perfect side of the island. Lots of beach to walk on or sit on and we rented golf carts and covered the whole island from one side to the other and back again. see the whole island. We had a great time and would definitely go back again.!! several nice places to eat, don’t come dressed up because it’s very laid-back and casual.

Lovely location with a few issues

Daviskey Island was very nice. The property owners provided really good feedback on how to be prepared for an island that is not connected to the mainland. I would read that closely if you're planning on coming. The accommodations had some issues. The couch was broken. The screens were ripped. The doors were toughed open and close. The biggest issue was that the elevators broke twice. We had to carry all of our stuff down the four flights of stairs. In summary, the location is great. The communication was great and the condominium needs some work.

Daufuskie did not disappoint

What a beautiful island and experience. Had a great time with friends. Communication with the host was amazing!! Answered within the hour and soo helpful! When we arrived we found out the elevator was broken and had to climb 4 flight of stairs to get to the room I was thankful we all were in great health because no one notified us it was out of service before arrival. The house was beautiful, exactly as advertised. The view is absolutely breath taking. However, the house was not cleaned very well .. the main screen door did not even have a handle. The screen doors were broken. There were light bulbs out. But the overall experience of the island was amazing for our first time.

The location is great for this island. The view is spectacular. The unit is very nice. Communication was helpful being this is a remote place and we needed information.

Beautiful property

This is a beautiful property right on the beach so you have the option of playing on the beach and ocean or swimming in the beautiful pool. We rented 2 golf carts for our group of 6 and had no problems getting everywhere on the island from this location. The unit itself is beautiful but could use a good deep cleaning. The twin bed bathroom has a lot of mold as well as some of the other vents in the house. The kitchen is set up very awkward, when the dishwasher is open you really can't move around the space which makes it difficult to put dishes away, this is on the builder though. I'm sure most units are set up the same. The sliding doors can use some TLC. My 81 year old mother could barely open and close them plus one of the handles was broken off. Probably from the stain of trying to pull the door. Lastly, the bugs in the kitchen, in the cabinets and running on the counter, ugh. I get it, bugs are hard to keep out when on an island but something needs to be done about them. Make sure you bring your own beach towels. We were told there should be 6, there were only 4 and one of those was still dirty and hanging in the bathroom. The location of this unit is ideal, top ocean front corner, if they clean it up and fix the doors it will be a perfect vacation spot.

Most relaxing place on earth

The condo is very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The views can not be beat. The sounds of ocean waves and the gorgeous sunrises are favorites. My husband enjoys shore fishing and seeing all the wildlife. Dolphins, pelicans, and sandpipers entertain right off the balcony. Very quiet and peaceful. Already planing our 4th stay.

Last minute get-away

What a great condo for my family of 5! Location was perfect, beach was quiet and perfect for our volleyball and frisbee family competitions and communicating with the owners couldn’t have been easier. Kitchen was well stocked and the dining room easily fit us all for game night. We plan to go visit again soon!

**Peace**

This was our first visit to Daufuskie Island and it did not disappoint. If you are looking for a place to get away and in need of peace & quiet I'm not sure there is a better spot. I visited with my 3 teenagers and myself. After a cancer diagnosis we needed to escape. The views, the proximity of the beach, how well stocked the home was, the kindness of Kristin with her patience in answering all our questions, the easiness of bringing our dogs, the recommendations of what to do and where to eat and the locals...LOVE the locals. Bring food to cook, they are not kidding about that! Take the golf cart and explore, talk to people you run in to and enjoy the history of the island. I can't say enough good things about this place. THANK YOU Kristin. We needed this so badly and you all definitely delivered! I was so sad to leave.

Great Thanksgiving at Dsufuskie

We had a great Thanksgiving at Daufuskie - we have stayed multiple times - but guests need to know what to expect. It is not the Ritz - but we are very happy to trade fancy for almost deserted beaches - it is a trip back in time! Nice people , unbelievably secluded beaches and a chance to really relax.

Another peaceful, quiet stay on Daufuskie. This is a penthouse unit with gorgeous sweeping views of the beach. Spacious, clean and quiet. Everything our family could have asked for.
