Gather your favorite people & come experience all the Grand River Valley has to offer. Book a winery tour of dozens of wineries in Ohio's Wine Country. Enjoy the historic Geneva-on-the-Lake resort town and beaches. Or get outside and explore Ashtabula county's covered bridge trail. Our renovated & fully furnished house, lovingly named Two Front Doors, is in the heart of it all, and has all the amenities of home to allow you & your guests to unwind in wine country. Just 10 minutes in any direction you'll find: 25+ wineries, The Strip at Geneva-On-The-Lake, Lake Erie beaches and golf courses, SPIRE Institute, & Ashtabula Harbor.

Other things to note:

This property is next to the train tracks. Yes, trains come by. Yes, you will hear it. We supply ear plugs and sound machines in the bedrooms for your additional comfort if needed. If you have little kids, please be aware of them out in the yard at all times.

Pet Friendly - Dogs welcome. Pet fee is $50 (2 max) per night. Please keep pets on their leash outside as our yard is unfenced & we're next to train tracks. Please remember to pick up after your animals.

Free parking on gravel driveway for 3-4 cars

Where you’ll be:

Located in the City of Geneva, walking distance to the historic downtown center. The Old Mill Winery is a short 5 minute walk from the house. To the North, The Strip at Geneva-on-the-Lake and Geneva State Park are a 10 minute drive away. To the south, SPIRE Institute is a 5 minute drive away. And all around are DOZENS of wonderful wineries in theGrand River Valley!

Getting around

You can walk to the center of downtown Geneva in 5 minutes. There are many wineries within 8-15 minute drive from the house. There is a taxi service in town you can use to get anywhere too, and limo bus options for larger group outings. Also, bikes and golf carts are available for rent in Geneva on the Lake.

The house was wonderful, decorated very nicely and had everything we could have needed for our long weekend. It was a nice & quiet neighborhood, even being next to the train tracks, which didn't bother any of us. Becky was very responsive and answered any questions I had in a timely fashion.

Home is gorgeous!! Great decor! The “little extras” of hair ties, face wipes, etc were so thoughtful! The layout is great for a group. Loved the yard for a campfire! High recommend!!!!

Beautiful House

This house is wonderful, with several beautiful bedrooms, a great kitchen, and cozy sitting room as well as large living room. Great location. Can't wait to come back for a longer stay.

Wine Down Weekend with Friends

Becky is a great host and everything is as depicted in the photos. My friends and I had plenty of space, kitchen supplies, and access to chargers since a few of us forgot to pack them. The location is super convenient, with short drives to stores and the wineries. Would absolutely stay here again if I’m in Geneva!

Perfect Getaway

We have stayed at many vacation rentals and this one was the most well stocked. The kitchen had everything you may need. We appreciated the soap, shampoo, lotion, makeup removers, and nightlights. It was very comfortable and close to everything. We would highly recommend it.

Thanksgiving in Geneva

Very nice home, staged lovely, comfy beds, lots of room to spread out. The train was loud, but we got used to it. Easy access to highway. Nice flay yard with fire-pit. We would highly recommend to other and we would also stay again. Thanks

We booked our stay in GOTL late and this was the ONLY property that fit our needs. We thought it was way too expensive not being nearer the lake. We reluctantly booked any way. Upon arriving we still were not impressed. It’s an older home beside the railroad tracks y’all. However we quickly grew to love the place The home is beautifully remodeled and fresh inside, gracefully furnished, and wonderfully stocked with all the essentials. The first thing you’ll notice is that you won’t need the 3 ply toilet paper you brought because it’s already here…with plenty of extra! The blankets and throws you brought will never be used because they are everywhere in this house! You’ll smile at your first shower…water pressure that is more like a massage! Every small appliance you can want. A coffee station. Lots of silverware. Plenty of cups and plates. The 6 of us played board games on the dining room table. Nice backyard. Fire pit AND they furnish the logs to burn!!! Very comfortable beds. Excellent HVAC system. Plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash…NICE not cheap! Safe neighborhood close to downtown and very close to Old Mill Winery…which has TASTY food and great service! The strip was only a short 6 minute drive. Much quieter and less bustling to stay here than in GOTL with the crowds! Oh yea…the train. It does blow its whistle every time it whizzes by but the noise was never too much. After the first night we didn’t really notice it. Book it.

My name is Becky and I'm so happy to share our home in Ohio wine country with you! Over the past few years, Geneva has become a special place for my husband and I to visit together when we have a night away from the kids. It's many wineries, proximity to the lake, and small town charm keep us coming back all year long. It was the feeling of home we felt every time we walked into the many family-owned wineries that led to us investing in a property here, where we and many others could enjoy all the beauty, charm and many adventures the Grand River Valley area holds.
I was born and raised in northeast Ohio, where I know live with my husband and three children. When I'm not working on the house or hosting guests, I teach bootcamp classes and indoor cycling.

We named the house “Two Front Doors” for its charming and uncommon architectural feature. This modern farmhouse has been recently updated with guest comfort in mind, including new air conditioning for warmer months, a backyard fire pit with seating, and hardwood floors throughout the main level.
