Property is nice and in a great location. Brandon was super easy to work with and great with communication. Highly recommend!

Great Spot!

Great spot! Close to the beach, pier, restaurants. PLENTY of room here for your group! 3 bedrooms, with the 3rd being large enough for a group of kids/young adults. (bring air mattresses for more than 2) The 3rd also has a projector for theatre style movies! The home was very clean and organized. 7-11 and a great pizza place are literally right around the corner.... Not sure if this is a new spot for host, but I think it will fill up with more "extras" as more people stay and leave behind new gadgets, games, towels, etc. Host was super friendly, quick to reply, and even accommodated an early arrival due to a host cancelling on us last minute. Would definitely return to this space if we head back out! Daughter graduated from USC, so not sure if Cali is in the future!! Fight on!

Photos are deceiving

I would not recommend this place AT ALL. Where do I start? When we arrived we walked through a trail of dead bees to get to the front door (there is a hive in the abandoned house next door and no one bothered to sweep the path before we arrived). The refrigerator smelled like fish.The kitchen has zero amenities. No bowls, tupperware, etc.. It was really hard to pack for the beach. There are no lamps in most of the rooms, only brightly lit fluorescent overhead lights that do not dim. NO LAURNDRY & NO FANS and it gets pretty hot downstairs. Speaking of downstairs, the "theatre"/3rd bedroom is a garage with a rug thrown down and a projector. Backyard was a disaster, not usable at all, so there is no place to sit outside. All that and when we left a bag of items there, the owner got downright hostile when communicating about the return of the items and actually blocked me. Needless to say, we never received the items back. As an owner of a rental myself, I find this behavior abhorrent. So expensive and not worth it.

The home is beautiful for sure. We enjoyed the two beautiful TVs in Living room and Master bedroom The third bedroom and Theater room is in fact an unfinished garage with paint splattered floor and garage sink with construction supplies and a little bit of trash. What was sold as something that sleeps 8 would put at least two people on the floor. Communication with the host was awful. there was only 1 towel in the master suite, no hand towels, no wash cloths. no top sheet on the beds. we thought that there were no additional linens for the futon, (twin size) but when the host finally got back to us 4 hours after first attempt to contact and finally being contacted by the company, he told us that we expected too much and that all his other clients were fine with the rental as is. He told us the additional towels were in the chest of drawers in the master suite. we did eventually find them but it was still very incomplete and we were given no guidance about where to find these things. the bedding was in the janitor closet in the bottom of a laundry basket. we were told to steel pillows for the futon, from the other bedrooms. the house is beautiful. good neighborhood. Just not what we expected, or paid for.
