You won't believe this cozy, farmhouse/modern bungalow that is only one block from downtown! Newly remodeled, 2-bedroom on a shady corner lot. A short walk to your choice of several outstanding restaurants, a world famous coffee shop, beautiful boutiques, a great thrift store, an old-fashioned soda shop, a bookstore, a pastry shop and many other attractions. Canyon's town square hosts many activities including a farmer's market, movie night, parades, etc. All complete with many, yummy food trucks. Canyon is also the home of Palo Duro Canyon State park, the "Texas " outdoor musical , and West Texas A and M University.. A 20 minute drive gets you to Westgate Mall and surrounding shopping and dining. Visit Cadillac Ranch, The Big Texan Steak House,and Wonderland Amusement Park,and a zoo. Your hosts are life-long residents of Canyon.

I’ll be back!

This was a perfect spot to stay for a few days. Easiest and cleanest vacation rental we have ever stayed in. I am in Canyon often and this house will be my first choice from now on!

Great place to stay!

This property was even better than as advertised. It was very clean, neat, comfortable, well furnishe, and in and of itself, made for a very pleasurable trip. We actually hated to leave and wish we could have stayed longer at this proortty.

1st time to canyon

Great location! Walkable to the cutest downtown square and a short drive to Palo Duro Canyon. The property is well represented in the photos, comfortable and pet friendly.

Fantastic! Oasis after a long day of hiking

Thank for providing a beautiful oasis for us. This bungalow is impeccable and so well done. We spent the day hiking in Palo Duro, just a few minutes up the road, and loved coming “home” to this comfortable, clean, gorgeously decorated, home. I can’t say enough about how enjoyable our stay was. If you are in this area, this is a must stay. I will be.

EASY walking distance to courthouse and several restaurants

We had a great time for a quick spring break visit. We hiked Palo Duro canyon and enjoyed the town. The house has a casual elegance, but is completely comfortable. Such a thoughtful host, everything for your visit is at your fingertips.

Perfect place

This place was amazing! Very clean and loaded with amenities. Location was a 5 minute walk to the square. Enjoyed massages, restaurants and quaint coffee shop on the square. Most of our time was spent hiking.

Cute & Roomy Home in Downtown Canyon

My family could not get over how cute this house was! It looks small on the outside, but it is SO spacious on the inside. The home is exactly as it looks in the pictures, but honestly i feel like it is so much cuter in person. There's lots of natural light that comes in the home to make it nice and bright. The house is right in downtown, but it is a quiet neighborhood. The owner was very communicative leading up to, during, and after our stay. The fence looks brand new and she has a low maintenance yard which is great, especially for pets. There's a special pet blanket to use if you bring your furry friend. The house was so clean you wouldnt be able to tell it is a pet friendly home, which is fantastic! You can tell a lot of thought went into decorating each room. I highly recommend this place! Thank you again for hosting us!

Amazing Stay with Thoughtful Touches!

We had the most wonderful experience staying at this property! From the moment we walked in, it was clear how much thought and care went into making it feel like a true home away from home. The Christmas decorations were absolutely charming and created such a festive and cozy atmosphere. The hosts went above and beyond with little touches like hot chocolate and popcorn waiting for us. Every detail, from the beautifully decorated space to the well-stocked kitchen, made our stay perfect. Excellent location for us to explore Palo Duro Canyon. Simply Perfect

We have stayed at many VRBOs and this one has been our favorite so far! The neighborhood is quiet, off street parking is available. It's decorated super cute! The bed was comfortable, the living area so comfortable our daughter fell asleep on the couch. ❤️ I truly hope it's available when we comeback.

Comfort!

Perfect setting (we loved the house and yard and neighborhood immediately). The inside was just as satisfying to enter and within a short span, we were relaxed on the couch. What a great location! Our walks took us downtown and through some neighborhoods and we enjoyed three of three local restaurants.

Excited to return someday

The house is walking distance to the cutest shops and delicious restaurants in Canyon. The beds are comfy and the amenities are wonderful. We spent our days in the canyons and then had the best place to relax after some long days of hiking.

Adorable and perfectly located

We had three adults and a dog. It’s such a cute house, well appointed and very dog friendly! It was quite clean, but as a dog-friendly house, do not expect it to be dog-hair free - that’s just impossible! The owner provides dog blankets to cover furniture which is very helpful. It’s in walking distance to the square with several shops, a used bookstore, a coffee shop and a few restaurants. Love the walkability! 0 negatives. Glenda, the host, is lovely and takes great pride in and care of the property! I would recommend or stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks for a wonderful stay!!

This bungalow was super cute, nicely decorated and very clean. Located in a quiet neighborhood and close to a great coffee shop and good restaurants. Driveway parking and outdoor private sitting area was a plus. Many thoughtful extras were provided.

Simple perfection

The property was as described, recently updated and all necessities were available. My wife really enjoyed her hot tea in the special carafe. Very close to some excellent breakfast and dinner foods.

Hi, I am Glenda. My husband Wayne and I have lived in the great town of Canyon for 58 years. We are entrepreneurs of sorts having owned rental property, laundromats, a women's boutique, and a water business. We have even tried our hand at raising ostrich.
I am pretty handy with tools and love remodeling and decorating. I keep the books on all our ongoing businesses and really love that also.
I landscaped our home and all our properties and really enjoy the physical work associated with that.
I am excited about this vacation rental business because I get to do all the things that I love doing while making extra money.

This bungalow is part of the original town of Canyon. It sits on a beautiful corner lot one block from downtown. The neighborhood is quiet -family homes and duplexes. Trees surround this property making it a shade oasis in the summer.
Because it is so near to downtown, you can walk to all the restaurants and shopping surrounding the historic courthouse.
We have paid attention to every detail in decor and amenities including luxury beds. fluffy white towels, a 60 inch smart tv and very comfortable seating.
If you book here, you will be a repeat client for sure.
