Located between Belmont Park and Pacific Beach, you're minutes away from coffee shops, restaurants, bars, stores, rentals, and activities.

Relax and enjoy the great location of this beach house -- Parking, A/C, WiFi, Coffee, Waters, Beach Chairs, Games, Towels, Bathroom essentials, and more… Everything you need to enjoy your stay by the water!

You're provided with personalized notes about the home for reference, and a list of some favorite restaurants & bars.

Girls trip

We went for a birthday girls trip. The house was clean and ready on time. The host was super friendly and left us useful guides for the weekend. Perfect location! I would recommend this cute little place for anyone. We loved it!

Family Vacation Stay

The overall property was clean and enjoyable, the location was just steps from the ocean which was great, the communication with the owner was excellent, the only downfall was it's on a busy street which got to be noisy at times. Other than that if I was visiting again I would recommend this property.

Fun and Convenient Beach Stay!

Great location and price for sweet 2 bedroom super close to the beach. Cozy, clean and had everything we needed and then some. We were worried about traffic noise and sleeping, but it wasn't an issue by later evening. Our full size extended cab truck did not fit in the awesome parking spot provided, but we found other parking very close without issue. We would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises. Note: Keep bikes out of public sight while not in use over night (locks will be cut!)

Beach house review

Thank you for sharing your beach house with us for my daughter and her friend's high school graduation treat. The house filled all of our needs for the beach: chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, and even beach towels and sunscreen. It was the perfect size for us three to spread out a little so the teens could have their space and I could have mine. The only negatives were that I thought the pillows were hard and there is road noise/no privacy when the curtains are open. There was super easy access to the house and parking was great. Illya was very responsive and helpful.

Booked/Arrived /No response from Host

We booked and paid for our stay in Mission Beach 8/18/23-8/20/23. Had emailed Host for check in instructions. No response so assumed they would message code closer to check in. Arrived at check in time and messaged/called host with still no response. VRBO comped us one night at a local hotel. Will receive a refund per VRBO but our trip was ruined and went home early. I'm a fellow STR owner myself, and thought Host was extremely irresponsible. To the Host -hire a Property Management Company if you are not available to do it yourself.

Such a great experience!

First off Illya is just lovely! Before our stay she texted to give me her info and see if there was anything we needed. She definitely put a lot of thought into what people would appreciate most staying in her place. She had extra shampoo and conditioners, q-tips, sunscreens and lotions, a cabinet full of water bottles and ice in the freezer. Most rentals will give you one towel per person no matter how long your stay, but she has an entire shelf full of beach towels, along with a whole cabinet full of bath towels, which was amazing. A great quality air mattress and a cabinet full of spices. She has everything you would need in a kitchen to be able to cook a meal for a family including extra tupperware. Beach chairs and boogie boards along with games, balls and sand toys. Just super thoughtful. We actually had the pleasure of meeting her and she really is just an awesome person. The location is awesome and sits right in front of a beach walk opening so literally steps to the beach along with being a ten minute walk to Belmont park. My family accidentally stole a pillow and left with some of her beach toys lol. She was so sweet and gracious and told me not even to worry about it. We will be staying at her place again!

Absolute scam

Our family had to travel to San Diego for a funeral. We decided to try Vrbo because we didn’t want a hotel where we were on top of each other. We also wanted to be on the beach because her ashes were spread out at sea and it would a last moment of connection. I messaged the host a week prior to our arrival to let her know we would be arriving late at night. The listing said we would be provided a passcode to enter the premises. No response. I figured we would get the information just prior to check in and nothing. After check in time I messaged host and got no response. During the drive, I had called several times and left voicemails and never received any acknowledgment. Vrbo attempted to contact the host and she continued to be non responsive. Vrbo stated they will refund the costs but unfortunately this property host made everything extremely difficult. I viewed an earlier review when this host did the same thing to another guest. However I saw the host was listed as “premier” and figured the situation must’ve been handled. It obviously was not. I implore Vrbo to remove this host from your network as I definitely had doubts about this type of rental before booking and this experience has shown my doubts to be valid. It may be a very long time if ever I attempt to try this business model again.
