Let the surf lure you to Surfside Cottage North, a cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bath ocean front duplex perched on a bluff overlooking the beautiful Pacific! With ocean views from the living room and the deck you will be sure to enjoy the sights, the sounds, and the fresh, salty smell of the sea.

With the open concept living/dining/kitchen, you will be able to relax after a fun filled day. Slide open the door to the deck and enjoy the outdoors, the view, and the surfside swells during those long summer days. Even the winter storms can be fun to watch as they blow in from the sea, steered by the jet stream, they flow like a meandering river of air. Watch for whales, birds, seals, and sea lions while grilling up your favorite catch of the day. One bedroom has comfy queen bed and one a full bed. They both share a bath in the hall. This is a duplex so if you need more room for family and friends, reserve Surfside Cottage South. While this is ocean front with wonderful views, the beach access is a short drive either north or south of the home.

Surfside Cottage North is the perfect jumping off point to any part of the Central Oregon Coast you plan to enjoy. Bring your kayaks and standup paddleboards because this home is a short 2-minute drive south to Brian Booth State Park and the gorgeous Beaver Creek area, popular for paddle sports and wildlife viewing. You are just a short drive to Newport where you can visit the Oregon Coast Aquarium, Yaquina Head Lighthouse, or walk along a working bayfront and enjoy fresh seafood either cooked to perfection onsite or bought off a boat for you to prepare at home.

Sleeps up to 4 - 2 Bedrooms, 1 Queen bed, 1 Full bed, 1 full bath.
Vehicles: Licensed for 2 (Strictly enforced)
Standard: 2 night minimum; Summer & Holidays: 3-4 night minimum.

Age Requirement: The primary registered guest must be at least 26 years of age. The majority of guests must be over 25, or children under adult supervision.

This home does not allow cat guests or other non-human, non-canine visitors. Dogs are welcome at this home but must be registered in advance and paid prior to arrival. This home has a 2-dog maximum occupancy! Pet Guests: One time $35+tax fee per dog. Pet fees are not included in the original reservation.

This duplex inside is so homey and comfortable. They have everything you think you might need. The views from the kitchen table and patio are amazing. Parking is a little tight, however, the place makes up for that. A definite come back to stay.

Beautiful view from picture windows. Pet friendly. Parking was a little complicated. No dishwasher in place had to hand wash dishes which doesn’t always sanitize dishes.

This little bungalow/ duplex is very cute. It's very nice and clean. It's old but it's comfortable. The mattress in the Queen room on the left really needs to be replaced so before you rent ask if that's been done. They have an adequate supply of utensils and tools and things to cook with. They did not have a dishwasher. I suggest you bring a couple of night lights. It's very dark and wonderful in the house but it's dark dark. The view is unmistakably the best for the whole area. If you have a dog you unfortunately you have to cross the street the 101 to get to a neighborhood to walk the dog in. There is a nice adequate front yard. Needs to be cut but it's great to just let the dog out. There is fencing but not in the front of the cliff. I recommend this house for a small family or a couple but it's perfect. It's so sweet and it's so reasonable. It's very very very nice. We loved spending memorial Day there!.

The cottage had a wonderful view, a usable basic kitchen, and a small yard. It was accessible for my elderly mom, with only one step up to enter. It was very quiet, clean, and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. Perfect for 3 people and a dog.Suggestions for improvement: better lighting and a new shower controller. Also, the gap in the hedge on the ocean side may put children or dogs at risk of going over the cliff.

Relaxing stay at the beach

We were not impressed when we first arrived, parking was very narrow and awkward to get into. We struggled with passcode, but they did give us another one that did work. The inside of home was clean and comfortable. And we did have a very nice view of the ocean. So the rest of the stay was relaxing.

Excellent ocean view and dog friendly! Comfortable cozy cottage with just the right space for two of us and our puppy. Deck and yard made it easy for our new puppy (& us) to enjoy the outdoors.We appreciated being notified that the house was ready early which made the 5:00 check-in time less a negative for this property.Could definitely use more lighting. We had to continuously move lamps around the living and dining areas depending on our activity. The kitchen lighting was mostly provided by the light above the stove. But we still ENJOYED our stay in the cottage!

Lovely get away

We had a wonderful time! Only thing that was kinda hard was the location right off the main coastal highway and parking was very tight. Amazing views and great back yard for our dog.

We had a lovely stay, the host was attentive to our needs/concerns, and you can't go wrong with the Pacific Ocean in your back yard!The kitchen was brilliantly stocked. We brought a few things we thought we might need, and found bringing them was unnecessary. Plenty of towels, TP, and paper towels to last us five nights.Concerns: My partner is disabled, and I am mobility challenged. I was looking specifically for a place with handicapped access, and while there were no staircases to negotiate, the path to the front door was gravel and pavers, which made crossing with a cane challenging. Also the front step to the door is higher than a standard step, an issue that was repeated at the steps in the back at the bottom of the deck. The seating in the living area was all too low to get up from without a lot of effort, and the dining area chairs/bar stools were all too high to be comfortable sitting on for very long.I had the smaller of the two beds; the room did not allow much room on either side of the bed, getting in and out of bed was quite challenging. The beds were not very comfortable, and I found my bed had nine pillows on it. NINE. And five of those were purely decorative. They made for a rather large pile in the corner of a rather small room.Also, there was a first aid kit in the bathroom which contained a small roll of tape, a compress, SIXTY antiseptic wipes, and not one single bandage. (We had a minor incident that required a bandage; we improvised.)

Quaint and convenient

Parking the small crossover SUV we rented was a bit of a challenge in the tight space allowed, but the location was perfect for the few day trips we took on the coast. The kitchen was reasonably well stocked and the ocean atmosphere was exactly what we wanted.

Outstanding View, Comfortable home

This is a beautiful area of the Oregon Coast and the home was a comfortable place to relax. The photos are accurate, the furniture and beds were very comfortable. I did do a little extra cleaning in the kitchen - burner trays and grill needed a little work, but overall it was a well-kept cottage, and the view could not be beat!
