Let the surf lure you to Surfside Cottage North, a cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bath ocean front duplex perched on a bluff overlooking the beautiful Pacific! With ocean views from the living room and the deck you will be sure to enjoy the sights, the sounds, and the fresh, salty smell of the sea.

With the open concept living/dining/kitchen, you will be able to relax after a fun filled day. Slide open the door to the deck and enjoy the outdoors, the view, and the surfside swells during those long summer days. Even the winter storms can be fun to watch as they blow in from the sea, steered by the jet stream, they flow like a meandering river of air. Watch for whales, birds, seals, and sea lions while grilling up your favorite catch of the day. One bedroom has comfy queen bed and one a full bed. They both share a bath in the hall. This is a duplex so if you need more room for family and friends, reserve Surfside Cottage South. While this is ocean front with wonderful views, the beach access is a short drive either north or south of the home.

Surfside Cottage North is the perfect jumping off point to any part of the Central Oregon Coast you plan to enjoy. Bring your kayaks and standup paddleboards because this home is a short 2-minute drive south to Brian Booth State Park and the gorgeous Beaver Creek area, popular for paddle sports and wildlife viewing. You are just a short drive to Newport where you can visit the Oregon Coast Aquarium, Yaquina Head Lighthouse, or walk along a working bayfront and enjoy fresh seafood either cooked to perfection onsite or bought off a boat for you to prepare at home.

Sleeps up to 4 - 2 Bedrooms, 1 Queen bed, 1 Full bed, 1 full bath.
Vehicles: Licensed for 2 (Strictly enforced)
Standard: 2 night minimum; Summer & Holidays: 3-4 night minimum.

Age Requirement: The primary registered guest must be at least 26 years of age. The majority of guests must be over 25, or children under adult supervision.

This home does not allow cat guests or other non-human, non-canine visitors. Dogs are welcome at this home but must be registered in advance and paid prior to arrival. This home has a 2-dog maximum occupancy! Pet Guests: One time $35+tax fee per dog. Pet fees are not included in the original reservation.

Excellent ocean view and dog friendly! Comfortable cozy cottage with just the right space for two of us and our puppy. Deck and yard made it easy for our new puppy (& us) to enjoy the outdoors.We appreciated being notified that the house was ready early which made the 5:00 check-in time less a negative for this property.Could definitely use more lighting. We had to continuously move lamps around the living and dining areas depending on our activity. The kitchen lighting was mostly provided by the light above the stove. But we still ENJOYED our stay in the cottage!

The cottage had a wonderful view, a usable basic kitchen, and a small yard. It was accessible for my elderly mom, with only one step up to enter. It was very quiet, clean, and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. Perfect for 3 people and a dog.Suggestions for improvement: better lighting and a new shower controller. Also, the gap in the hedge on the ocean side may put children or dogs at risk of going over the cliff.

Relaxing stay at the beach

We were not impressed when we first arrived, parking was very narrow and awkward to get into. We struggled with passcode, but they did give us another one that did work. The inside of home was clean and comfortable. And we did have a very nice view of the ocean. So the rest of the stay was relaxing.

Lovely get away

We had a wonderful time! Only thing that was kinda hard was the location right off the main coastal highway and parking was very tight. Amazing views and great back yard for our dog.

Beach vacation

Overall was very nice. Kitchen was probably best stocked on all houses we rented. Furniture was not as comfortable, really soft. We wanted something with view and it was great!

Outstanding View, Comfortable home

This is a beautiful area of the Oregon Coast and the home was a comfortable place to relax. The photos are accurate, the furniture and beds were very comfortable. I did do a little extra cleaning in the kitchen - burner trays and grill needed a little work, but overall it was a well-kept cottage, and the view could not be beat!

Quaint and convenient

Parking the small crossover SUV we rented was a bit of a challenge in the tight space allowed, but the location was perfect for the few day trips we took on the coast. The kitchen was reasonably well stocked and the ocean atmosphere was exactly what we wanted.

Beautiful view

Great place to relax. Deck is great place to drink wine and coffee. Since the property is right on Hwy 101 it can be a bit difficult to pull out due to fast traffic.

Perfect for Ocean View

The house was very much as advertised - beautiful view of the ocean from inside and outside, with a firepit that made sunset watching delightful in cool weather. The house was clean, comfortable, and very-well stocked. It’s not luxurious, but I certainly felt very pampered there.

Wonderful Getaway

I stayed here with my husband and two kids. This place was perfect for us. Because we stayed here during April, we knew we weren’t going to spend a lot of time outside. We loved looking outside at all the birds. We saw eagles, shorebirds, hawks, and so many hummingbirds. The property is secluded but close enough to Newport that we could easily run in to town.

The view was amazing

The duplex was great with awesome views of the ocean from the back porch. Kitchen was stocked with everything needed. Bedrooms were nice sized and the beds were very comfortable. The only thing I would recommend is a ceiling fan in the living area. Other than that, this is a spectacular place to stay.

Great view

We were under the impression it is in Newport. It's not. Cottage is on beach. No beach access unfortunately for a mile each way. Walk is on a narrow busy highway
